Flavours Restaurant — Restaurant in Manipur

This is a good resturant with a decent & a serene atmosphere but on simple put, the taste of the foods doesn't live up to their explicably high prices; The food I ordered was just a simple paratha and a curry, but the price?! ₹399 for the curry & ₹60 for the paratha and to be honest, I was disappointed with the taste, (it simply tasted ok). Overall, the questions lies, Was it worth the price? Absolutely Not if u ask me. The beverages were kinda delicious but the prices?📈. The only thing that gladdened me was the free wifi but that doesn't cope up the terrific food experience that I had. Please work on your foods because their tastes aren't worth their prices!

Edit: Forgot to mentioned that the Staff were welcoming, well disciplined & well trained. It was the taste of the foods & their prices that disappointed me and made me say otherwise 😶.

Food is definitely better than most in the area. The first time I visited I had the Butter chicken and Paratha which is one of my comfort foods and it didn’t let me down. We also ordered grilled chicken which came with a side of mashed potatoes and vegetables, which I liked a lot! However, I ordered a good old cup of Masala Chai but was served dipped tea because the Kitchen staff was too busy to make it I was told, which I found to be a little amusing. It’s a small, cozy family restaurant, nothing too fancy. I would definitely go back again as I did after a few weeks since my first visit and had Penne Pasta and Lasagna, we loved it. The name of the place actually do it justice. Looking forward to exploring the menu...

The quality of food has drastically gone downwards. I am a foodie and I brag about my taste in foods. Biryani should not look and taste like fried rice with big chunks of chicken/mutton, Hakka noodles should not look like dried 'sticky' brown coloured Maggie and the taste should be unique. If Flavours was a Hotel with Restaurant, I wouldn't mind much the quality but it is just a restaurant and the quality of food should be better than most in this competitive business but its going the opposite way.
