We came to this place with high expectation after such great reviews on Google.

For a starters we ordered beef momos and they were delish. Portion size of dishes generous. Ambiance of the place is nice and appealing. The waiter that took our order was very nice.

My friend ordered beef steak and dark coffee. I came here specifically for the pork ribs, just to be told they are out of them. Then, I requested a lasagna… not available either. Finally, I went with the same dish as my friend while I joked with her saying maybe they have only one left — that was the case for real! Ridiculous! At this point we didn’t know if it was a joke, but we were hoping the good would be as good as the reviews we’ve read.

I ended up going with the beef burger which was not a burger at all except for the bread. The burger was just the beef momo’s filling (boiled beef meat) made into a round shape. A beef burger is supposed to be grilled ground beef (maybe seasoned). For a drink, I order a lemon ice tea, that was super sweet so I had to add more water in order to drink it.

As for my friend’s dish, she didn’t enjoy it either. The steak was heavily seasoned and covered in a thick sauce and the coffee just too washed out.

The ambience is ok. Located at laimukhrah gives you access to other places quickly. It has a good view to observe the city street around you as you sip your coffee. Service people are nice.

I had Cappuccino: some variety which they said was strong but was ok. Garlic bread: again ok but too sma a portion and slightly over toasted. Fries: very bad. Had it returned to be cooked again but still tasted raw. It enjoyable at all. They did not bill me for this though and offered that the potatoes may have been bad.

Very limited other vegetarian options. Their glass sandwich was basic cucumber tomato (as explained to me) and for the price I decided not to order. I was similarly unconvinced about the burger option.

The only other available option seemed the thupka which may have been better but I was not in a mood.

This is a joint which outsiders hear about but I found it limited in its offerings to me as a vegetarian and also not very good.

The stars are for the location, ok ambience and nice people. Not...

I went there for dining experience. Food (instead of Room) - 4.8/5 A bit costlier as compared to other cafes nearby but the taste of the chilli steak tenderloin was good. The rice noodles well complemented making it a well seasoned dish. The peach 🍑 smoothie was mentioned on the recommended drinks of the night. It justified it being the drink of the night.

Service - 4.0/5 The server was zoned and clueless. I suspect him being drunk. But the lady in the reception held on her own but she looked visually frustrated with the server.

Ambience (instead of location)- 4.5/5 Very nice laid back music-sports themed cafe in the heart of Laitumkhrah. The tables were clean and restaurant had no foul odour. Even the washrooms seemed really clean. I would personally visit again.

Overall verdict - 4.5/5 Very good food prepared by the chef. The bill management system was efficiently managed by the staff. Please ensure the servers you have are proactive and work with a smile. Else I give a thumbs 👍 up...
