I had an incredibly frustrating and impactful experience at the Dominos outlet in Kanakia Mira Road. My friends and I arrived at the store at 10:20 PM, expecting to enjoy a meal at a reasonably late hour. However, our evening took a turn for the worse due to the severe issues we encountered.
Upon our arrival, we were informed that there was a server issue, which required us to wait for 15 minutes before we could even place our order. This delay was already inconvenient and unexpected. However, the real disappointment came when the cashier informed us that we could only place a takeaway order because the dine-in option had supposedly closed.
To our surprise, we discovered that the closing time for the outlet was actually 11 PM, which meant we had arrived well within the operating hours. It was unacceptable for us to be denied the opportunity to dine in when we had made the effort to visit the outlet in person.
What compounded our frustration was the fact that the cashier then informed us that our order would take an astonishingly long time, ranging from 45 minutes to 1 hour, to be prepared. This meant that even if we chose the takeaway option, we would still be subjected to an unreasonable waiting period.
The root cause of this entire ordeal was the outlet's inefficiency and lack of preparedness. It became apparent that they were solely relying on a single card machine at the cash counter, causing further delays in the ordering process. It is unacceptable that such a reputable chain like Dominos would not have backup systems in place or efficient processes to handle such contingencies.
This entire experience left us feeling frustrated, disappointed, and inconvenienced. We had made a considerable effort to visit this specific outlet, traveling all the way from the highway near Thakur Mall. To encounter such mishandling and disregard for customers' time and satisfaction was truly disheartening.
I sincerely hope that Dominos takes this review seriously and takes immediate steps to address the issues we encountered at the Kanakia Mira Road outlet. Customers deserve prompt and efficient service, especially when they make an effort to visit an establishment despite the inconvenience...

I placed two orders (#90 and 104 of 30/7/22) for 2 pizzas each at 2:18 and 2:34 PM. Since App status was not changing - I called helpline at 15:02 PM - and learnt that there are no delivery boys and hence order was on hold. Delivery would take an hour longer. I asked to cancel the orders as kids could not wait so long.
I called again at 15:26 to ask why orders were not cancelled. Helpline was helpless and said that the store needs to do this. They called the store and assured me that I would get a call back and order would be cancelled
Meanwhile, I had already ordered on Pizza Hut and almost finished eating pizzas. There is a knock .... guess who?? The store thought that because I had paid online, I would accept the pizzas. I returned them. Lets see if the store refunds my money.
In case of issues, store/restaurant manager of even small joints calls up and states there is a delay. This store seems to be managed by some strange characters who have no idea of what service means - especially when they represent a brand like Dominos. Hence the above award seems appropriate. First, let's talk about cleanliness. Upon entering the restaurant, I immediately noticed that the floors were dirty, and the tables appeared to have been wiped down hastily, if at all. The food preparation area was visible, and it didn’t look well-maintained. This lack of attention to hygiene is concerning, especially in a food establishment. I expect a certain standard when it comes to cleanliness, and this experience fell far short.
Now, onto the customer service aspect. The staff seemed overwhelmed and unapproachable. I waited a long time to place my order, and when I finally did, the employee was dismissive and unhelpful. There was no effort to make me feel welcomed or valued as a customer. When I had questions about the menu, I felt brushed off rather than assisted. It’s disappointing to see a lack of basic customer service skills, which can greatly affect a customer's overall experience.
