Òsteria — Restaurant in Mumbai

Osteria is located off Link road Lokhandwala and it is near Fun Republic and accurately available on Google Maps hence easy to find.

The restaurant is spacious with outer non AC and indoor AC section being available. Both the sections looks beautiful do to the vintage lightings done and both the places have speakers so you can enjoy music. The inner section have a decent bar with the DJ section. The have sofa and high seatings available as well. Tables and chairs are arranged systematically. They have screens which play sports. Sound system was amazing as the music played was crisp and clear.

The menu contains multi cuisines hence options are available from pizza to burgers and from nachos to chinese. Loved the menu as some dishes here are unique and options are great for both vegetarians and non vegetarians. Prices are not too high and the quantity served in also excellent.

I went here for Thursday dinner and the place was almost packed. The music was loud and perfect hence cheers to DJ Mr Blaze for playing nice selection of songs without any annoying stuff. Met Captain Bharat who was very polite and special thanks to Staff Akshay & Naresh who were pro active and attentive and made the dinner amazing. The kitchen service here was one of the fastest that I have come accross as the dishes came very quickly.

What We Had - APPETIZERS~ Cottage Cheese Kunafe - Fresh paneer crispy coated and sprinkled with spicy BBQ spices tasted great. The crunchiness was good and being deep fried it was not oily. I loved the spicy sprinkle as it tasted amazing.

Cajun Spiced Chicken Skewers - Light rubbed cajun spices on juicy chicken and grilled to perfection these skewers tasted brilliant. The chicken was tender and the cajun flavour was perfect.

MAINS~ Mushrooms & Mozzarella Pizza - Neapolitan pizza with light fluffy thin crust topped with mushroom & cheese with truffle oil. Taste wise delicious as the mushrooms had nice earthiness plus the cheese tasted good. Light flavours of truffle oil was also there but it was uneven on some slices.

Chicken Kimchi Fried Rice - Looked great and tasted spicy. Tangy kimchi along with vegetables and chicken done in the unique gobindobhog rice tasted decent. For me the spice level was little high as it had chillies plus black peppers hence people who love eating spicy can go for this.

DESSERTS~ Dark Chocolate Mousse. Vanilla Cheesecake - Both the desserts looked stunning and tasted outstanding. Dark chocolate mousse was not too bitter and was very thick and tasty and the vanilla cheesecake was light and yummy.

MOCKTAILS~ Tropical Passion. Lavender Fizz - Mocktails tasted brilliant and refreshing.

So the meal at Osteria was perfect as the ambiance is great, the music played was groovy, the service was excellent and the food was delicious. Therefore...

The menu, a fusion of Mediterranean and Asian cuisines, showcased the owner's commitment to quality. The Jalapeno Croquettes, Chilli Garlic Prawns, and Chimichurri Roasted Baby Potatoes impressed with their distinct flavors. The Quattro Formaggi pizza and Grilled Chicken with Red Wine Jus displayed a perfect blend of Mediterranean influence. The Chargrilled Norwegian Salmon offers a delectable option with a perfect balance of smokiness and tenderness.

The restaurant's passion for craft beer shone through, evident in the recommendation of the Hefeweizen and Belgium Wit, both poured with expertise. The outdoor setting, coupled with a choice of over 10 craft beers, contributed to a pleasant evening. Their dedication to creating an inviting atmosphere resonated. The careful selection of bright colors, dim lighting, and abundant greenery achieved a classy yet comfortable ambiance. The emphasis on in-house preparation, from sauces to desserts, highlighted a commitment to freshness and quality.

The Chocolate Coulant oozes indulgence with its gooey center and rich cocoa flavor. The Tiramisu melted in our mouth and The Lotus Biscoff Cheesecake, a house-made delight, combines the iconic cookie flavor with creamy perfection, rounding off our experience on a sweet note.

Òsteria's pride in the large outdoor section was justified, offering a delightful space for enjoyable evenings. We wanted to try some really unique menu for our dinner, so after carefully researching; we chose Osteria for our dinner. Osteria has a very well curated menu. One of the most unique menus in Mumbai. We had a variety of dishes ranging from salads to dessert. I'll walk y'all through every step of my dine in experience. ▪︎ Salads Wild Arugula Salad : one of the healthiest salads, this is purely vegetables. Caramelized onions, lettuce, cabbage and pomegranate. Very well developed salad. ▪︎Starters Vegetable Kibbeh Another amazing and filling starter, mashed with vegetable filling served with spicy mayo. Tastes the best with chilli sauce Water Chestnut and Baby Corn Tempura The BEST starter available at Osteria. Nothing comes close and I'm not joking. From crisp, to texture, to taste to quantity. Everything was a 10/10. Loved it. Highly recommended. ▪︎Between Breads Avocado Sandwich This cheesy avocado Sandwich isn't the one to miss. Served with spicy mayo, and fries, this sandwich is too huge to be completed. This is on another level. It'll take you two, to finish one. ▪︎Mains Margherita Pizza One of the best stone hedge pizzas. The bread is made of pure wheat, so even the pizza crust is delicious. Too heavy for 2 people. Amazing taste. ▪︎Drinks Long Beach Cranberry LIIT This alcohol cocktail is a to go drink if you're out drinking. Well made and delicious. Guava Merry Spicy Guava and Tonic based Mocktail is my all time favorite so it's great too. ▪︎Dessert Passion fruit Pannacotta This dessert excels most desserts I've had. If you're opting for a non chocolate dessert, this dessert has no chance of disappointing you. I loved it. That was my experience here at Òsteria. I'm yet to find a dish which isn't nice here at Osteria. Loved every bit of it. Our experience was enhanced by Mr. Hemant and Mr. Ravi for guiding us through their extensive menu. The best service.
