Over the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of dining at 1441 Pizzeria on five occasions, each visit offering a mix of delightful experiences and occasional disappointments. Here’s a detailed review of what I’ve encountered each time.

Ambience and Accessibility:

The ambience at 1441 Pizzeria is one of its standout features. Both the outdoor and indoor seating areas are thoughtfully designed, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. The outdoor area, with its charming plantation and soft lighting, is particularly refreshing, providing a serene dining experience. Indoors, the space is equally inviting, with ample room for guests. Importantly, the restaurant is wheelchair accessible, featuring slopes at both the outdoor and indoor entrances and tables that accommodate wheelchair users comfortably.

Menu Highlights and Tasting Notes:

The menu at 1441 Pizzeria is unique and diverse, offering a range of healthy and vegan-friendly options. One of my favorite aspects of their menu is the availability of cheeseless pizzas loaded with fresh toppings. This is particularly appealing for those seeking a healthier pizza option without sacrificing flavor.

Pizza Varieties:

Paneer Tikka Pizza: This pizza was a bit of a letdown. While the paneer was soft and the pizza had a mild spicy flavor, it lacked the punch I hoped for. It was decent but didn't stand out in terms of taste.

Veggies Delight Pizza: On the other hand, the Veggies Delight Pizza was a triumph. It was generously loaded with a variety of fresh vegetables and had a delightful flavor that made it a must-try. Adding BBQ chicken to this pizza with a thin crust was another highlight. The combination of veggies and chicken created a well-balanced and satisfying meal.

Cheese Burst Pizza: I sampled their cheese burst pizza, which was good but fairly standard compared to other cheese burst pizzas I’ve had. It was enjoyable but didn’t offer anything extraordinary.

Pasta and Sides:

Pink Sauce Pasta: The pink sauce pasta was tangy and well-sauced, making it a flavorful choice. It was balanced and satisfying.

Garlic Bread: The garlic bread was good, though the consistency was occasionally inconsistent. Sometimes it was perfectly toasted, while other times it was slightly overcooked or underdone.

Dough Balls: These were enjoyable, though, like the garlic bread, there were inconsistencies in preparation. When done right, they were delightful, but occasionally they were not cooked evenly.

Additional Items:

BBQ Chicken Wings: Unfortunately, the BBQ chicken wings did not meet my expectations. They were smaller than average and comprised mostly of leg pieces, which were not particularly enjoyable.

Peach Iced Tea Pitcher: The peach iced tea was refreshing, though not particularly remarkable. It was a decent choice but could benefit from a stronger flavor profile.

Chili and Garlic Oil: One small but appreciated detail is the default availability of chili and garlic oil on all tables. It’s a great touch for those who enjoy adding extra flavor to their dishes.

Staff and Service:

The staff at 1441 Pizzeria are consistently courteous and attentive. They are helpful in providing recommendations and ensuring a pleasant dining experience. The overall cleanliness of the restaurant, including the washrooms, adds to the positive impression.

Final Thoughts:

1441 Pizzeria is a great spot for pizza lovers, especially those who appreciate a well-crafted crust. Their dedication to creating a flavorful dough base enhances the overall pizza experience. The Veggies Delight Pizza is a standout choice, and the healthy options are a significant plus. While some items, like the chicken wings and certain sides, did not impress, the overall experience remains positive. I have been to this place many times ! We went here for dinner on a Wednesday evening

What I ordered

Krish pizza - thin crust For me thin crust pizza at 1441 are the absolute winners 5/5

They taste great and the ingrédients etc all taste fresh! Specifically like the sun dry tomatoes here! The pizza they make that right in front of you in their open kitchen So if you prefer thin crust I would suggest you try their thin crust pizza for « dinning in «

Veggies delight pizza with bbq chicken add on -thin crush

Sometimes I want a mix of veggies and chicken in my pizza so I order the veggie delight and add chicken to it Again was great loved it!

Some chicken bonanzas or something pizza - cheese burst

Like any other regular cheese burst Was good/normal

BBQ chicken wings sadly I do not enjoy chicken wings from 1441

Also the size of chicken wings is usually very small here than regular and more of leg pieces

Dough balls It was good I liked it

Just an observation that it is slightly difficult to maintain the consistency sometimes it’s perfect sometimes it’s slightly over heated or little not done but none the less I liked it

Peach ice tea pitcher Was good

Also I like the fact that they have chilly oil and garlic oil on all the tables by default

Food -4.5/5 Service - 4/5 Ambience -4/5 because they have an open kitchen

Service Yes they take little amount of time but as long as you are giving me delicious food in exchange I don’t mind waiting a little

Ambience is basic usual but I like their open kitchen !

Overall I liked it here !! would recommend it only if you like thin crust wood fire...

For Pizzas: Thin Crust Starstruck Pizza which had leafy greens, cherry tomatoes & Cheese in the corners (Must Try) Wild Card Pizza ( perfect for veggie lovers) Diamond in the Rough Pizza had deseeded cherry tomatoes, burrata cheese & some green sauce! (Loved it totally & perfect for cheese lovers) -White Swan Pizza had trahedela Cheese with red sauce

For dessert - Nutella Dough Balls which were crisp & flaky from outside & chocolaty from inside!

Talking about the place it has vast indoor & outdoor seating area available & the ambience so cool & you can enjoy your pizza with an amazing music...
