Blue Tokai is a charming cafƩ with a cozy ambiance and a menu that caters to both coffee and food lovers. Despite being overly packed during our visit, the staff was efficient and attentive, ensuring a pleasant experience.
What We Tried: Pistachio and Raspberry Croissant: A delightful treat with a balanced sweetness and a burst of pistachio and raspberry jam flavors āa comforting choice. Bechamel Chicken Brioche Bun: Fresh, buttery, and perfectly savory a true indulgence. Smoked Chicken Sandwich: Flavorful, served with potato chips, and an excellent pairing with the coffee. Latte: Smooth and well-crafted. Spanish Latte: Thick, creamy, and infused with a woody cinnamon tasteāabsolutely indulgent.
Though we originally went for a snack, the portion sizes and richness of the food served both snacking and dinner purposes, leaving us completely satisfied. We stayed late, enjoying the cozy atmosphere and chit-chatting, which made the experience even more enjoyable.
Overall, Blue Tokai impressed us with its thoughtful menu, inviting vibe, and quick service. Itās a great spot to unwind, though the packed space might not suit those seeking quiet. Definitely worth...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently ordered a wrap, and to my surprise, the inner ārotiā layer was not cooked properly. When I raised this with one of the staff, I was informed that itās a pre-made fixed base which is only heated before serving. This is quite concerning from a hygiene and quality perspective. If customers are paying the price, they deserve freshly prepared, properly cooked food ā not something that feels stale.
If your strength lies in coffee, it would be better to focus on that rather than compromising on the quality of food. Doing business is great, but hygiene and customer trust should never be played with.
Additionally, I had ordered a Vietnamese coffee, which is usually quite good at Blue Tokai. However, despite clearly requesting only 2 ice cubes, the quantity of the drink was noticeably reduced while serving, which was disappointing.
I sincerely hope you take this feedback constructively and work towards improving the quality of both food...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTwo not so good experiences! We, a senior citizens couple were seated on a table for two and were placing an order, when we were asked to move to another table as a group of 4 people, who came in much later had to be accommodated. We walked out and the staff did not bother. On the 11th evening, we visited again and ordered smoked chicken with egg omelette and sourdough bread, a sweet cinnamon bun and two coffees one hot and one cold. The coffees were served first and the food items much later. We expected the food items to be served first as the coffee will get cold by the time we have it after tasting the food. Except the sweet bun and the cold coffee, all other items were badly done. The bread was of poor quality and taste, not toasted properly, the egg scramble was insipid and overall the dish was bland and not worth it. The hot coffee didn't have the typical blue tokai flavours and taste. All in all, not a...
