Banjara Dhaba Restaurant — Restaurant in Mumbai

Worst experience to any restaurant I have ever visited. Very small area inside ok ok atmosphere and light. Chair sitting arrangement is ok. But the guy who's serving is not even interested to give food. They taking order and the order serving is very bad we asked for 2 by 4 soup and the guy bring only 3 after we say that we had told to serve 4 then that man bring one empty bowl and making 4th one right there and the serving quantity is so low after we send him again to make proper 2 by 4 so he got irritated. Then he took the soup and serving the soup by just banging the table. That's ok to be irritated sometimes but food taste was not very good. We ordered there paneer guldasta by there recommendation the was epic fail. The salt is so high and masala is so bad. 😵 Not recommended and the paneer they used is bad rotten tasing very sour. We had veg chef spl something which is good in taste but cant tell about the quality. The guy who's serving us the food every time he comes with the ordered food he just throws things in our plate like we are sitting in some where in road side lunger. Not going to tell his name may affect his work but ya that's not the way.Virgin mojito and banzara caramel mojito two drinks both of em are worst after that we add some ice cubes extra lemon to make it drinkable. The manager is also getting very much nervous n all, because most of the people had issue most of the people cancelling order. After everything done we called for billing he took the bill after telling him that payment will be by card he didn't bring the card swipe machine at 1st. After he came with the machine, the way to ask for the card is to say to customer for card to proceed for payment but this guy is from different universe. He just snached the card from hand and made the payment. The action of that guy is very rude sometimes irritating but the serving is very bad with food with the quality and taste of the food. Not recommended from my side there are more place to visit but don't try here my opinion. Waste of money and big thing we told them to pack the remaining of our food . That stupid took the dishes and we waited almost half hour talking among us we waited out side also and eventually we forgot about our parcel and within that time no one called us for our parcel. Not going here again and if you see this review then from my side 100% not recommended. Try n search...

Delicious food and beautiful ambiance!

*Food- they have wide range of options in veg and non veg, they serve punjabi, Chinese and few options in continental cuisine. Must try their punjabi dishes. Loved their spring onion basil paneer tikka, 2.veg Angara masala had a mix of exotic veggies in red gravy little spicy and tangy. Tandoori roti was super soft. 3.Dilruba dal had a very mild and homely taste. Veg Matka is a also a good if you like veggies and sweetcorn, it's red gravy with finely chopped veggies, paneer little cheese and cashew nuts. Spring roll is very delicious, not too oily, loved the filling.

*Ambience and hospitality - the ambiance is beautifully decorated giving a dhaba look, the outdoor as well as indoor seating has a different set up. The place looks vibrant. The staff is dressed up in Rajasthani outfit, they are very polite and helpful.

*Price - the menu is pocket friendly and totally worth the quality and quantity.

*Attributes, hygiene and safety - the entrance in accessible ♿✅ They check temperature before entering, sanitizers are places at multiple spots and entrance. The washroom is clean. The tables are cleaned with sanitizer, the staff is properly masked. Ideal for groups, family and kids friendly. They offer takeway and delivery. Usually busy...

DON’T EVEN THINK OF GOING IF YOU WANT TO GET INSULTED BY WAITER OR THERE STAFF.

Most horrible and disgusting experience I had last night . After sitting the waiter came on calling after 15 min. With water or menu to serve , On placing order for starters even after confirming how long would it take . As my wife was fasting and also before 12am wanted to finish due to navratri first day starting . The weird reply was to make 5-7 min and than depends how long you take to it . And strayed laughing, look at his attitude . The starter came after 40 min than to we keep asking boss how long it will take more or else we leave , he got the started absolutely raw that too from veg kabab tandoor item. We kept petition to see the food to come and guess what . He disappeared and didn’t came back for 45 min , when I went out to see for food and him . The entire staff was on mobile . There are other table who had order biryani in there running order and they waited for more than mine order seated with half done . Guess we had no choice to leave that place as it was 5 min to 12am. We went to speak to the manager or who so ever was in charge and his attitude was so pathetic and cold . Worst experience in Thakur village out of all the places we have even been too.
