TAVOLA FINE DINE,BAR , DIESEL CAFE — Restaurant in Mumbai

This was the only place left for me to visit in thakur village specially after being taken over from chola, which I did recently. What a bummer to the expectations I had.. Staff needs to be much better in their behaviour right from the managerial level to the servers.. Food is OK but takes good amount of time to reach to ur table.. The main thing that have upset me is their lack of clarity.. They have today's special kind of menu on the table from where I ordered for rawas koliwada which was 250 but had the same mentioned for 450 in the menu.. Me being single on that particular visit asked from the menu which they present u as today's special considering a lesser portion for a single person.. When I specifically asked for today's special menu costing me for 250 for rawas koliwada they charged me for 450 from the menu.. When I enquired about the same they told me for having served 03 extra pieces of fish that's why the reason I got charged for almost the double amount. I didn't know the same specially when I specifically ordered from their daily special meny clearly stating the price of the said item... I don't mind paying lil extra but what has pinched me is the lack of clarity and unprofessional approach of the staff on the same issue.. I felt like cheated for absolutely a sub standard quality of meal... However ignoring the same I went ahead ordering other items in the menu (which wasn't good enough for me to felt good about them) as I didn't want to spoil my evening but felt it necessary to expose their practise here. So called mangers are absolutely nincompoop when it comes to matter like this... Thakur village has lots of eatery option where they serve drinks as well.. Don't find this particular place as good as compare to others to visit and waste ur money and time... With the location where the restaurant is situated, a good service, proper management and quality product can definitely fetch a good business.. But they seems too casual towards it..... Happy hours of 2 +1 drinks is limited to only large pegs.. Again an example of not having a clarity on what they want to portray..Visit was absolutely a bummer..there are many places far more better then this particular joint where one can experience better value for money and quality.. Staff seems to be in too much of Hurry to have all their customers wind up early before midnight and they started bothering me around 23.15 only to have my all orders placed and finish everything... Shame...not deserving at all to operate from such a prime location.staff not bothered after ur order is placed.. Absolutely...

This is a cozy fine dine resto-bar very near to my residence in Kandivali East. Very Subtle ambience, good vibes and courteous staff to start with. Had come here with family for festive dinner treat and it was well spent. We ordered good starters both Veg and Non Veg along with Beer, Whisky and Sula White Wine Pints.

Mushroom Paneer Tikka was very delectable and moderately or less spicy and was satisfying to the taste buds. The Paneer tikka was little bland but was well marinated and cooked.

Chicken Chilly in Hot Garlic Sauce was a sumptuous starter with juicy chicken pieces well marinated and crisp fried coated with the hot garlic sauce. Superb 10/10

Dal Khichadi served was fairly good and asusual fullfilling. The Sugar Cravings were satisfied by a bowl of Hot Gulam Jamuns and Vanilla Icecream. Both were good. Overall service, staff behaviour and food quality can be remembered. Will...

I would have given 0.5 stars for all the parameters if it was allowed.Pathetic management and even more disgusting food.We ordered a prawns taro nest and a chicken sizzler.The nest made of fried noodles was bitter and tasted like it was fried in very low quality oil and I was charged 625 for this dish.Moving on ,the chicken sizzler had stale chicken in it .

On top of all this,when complained to the manager,he realised that there were issues but he did not take any action on it.He was extremely passive and did not know how to behave with the guests. This used to be one of my favourite restaurants,but i swear i will never visit...
