Adelkar's kitchen — Restaurant in Mumbai

Very very shocked to see the drop in quality of food. My mother used to be a regular here when I was young and used to stay in Goregaon. On my mother's insistence I ordered from here on Zomato and was shocked at how bad the food was. Firstly, I got Teesrya Curry instead of my order for Teesrya dry. The Solkadhi was basically Coconut milk with a hint of kokum - no garlic, lacked salt and lacked the Konkani zing that Adelkar used to be famous for. The Usal & Dal were actually prepped Pune style - very sweet and again, lacked the Malwani zing. I happen to be from Kudal and I can swear that what I tasted today was a far cry away from Malwani food. Perhaps the only face saver was the Pomfret Masala and Bombil Fry.

If you are looking to taste authentic Konkani, Malwani food prepped in Kudaldeshkar style meals, Adelkar is no longer the destination. Either go to Konkan or Goa. Very very...

I had lunch today at this place. Small dingy place more like a khanaval like ambience. Ordered Mutton Thali. Thali came with mutton gravy with generous amounts of mutton pieces which was well cooked and tasty albiet a bit spicy. Three chappatis a slice of onion, one vati of solkadi amd one spoon of chatni. This was followed by small quantity of rice.

I wouldn't rate this high of hygiene if what I saw was an indication.They need to improve on their ambience and also cleanliness and hygiene.

Also from safety point of view there we sharp splinters of bone one of which were 3-4 in number and one actually got lodged in between my teeth and hurt my gums. Some care should be taken on that front too. It could be an old aged person or a child eating this and could lead to...

First of all, owner was dealing with personal issue with loud voice in this small hotel when we entered this hotel. There was no care about customers. People go to hotel for peaceful eating but owner was least bothered. This was first sad part. Secondly Fish was not fresh we tried to convince but he was in different mood.
