Service and food quality has dropped. Don’t know how to speak to customers , it’s like doing a favor to the customer . Roomani papad was stale and when asked to take back just refused . In fact was told this is the best in town . Fish tikka was stale and cold served. Discrepancies in billing and even the left over food parcel was never handed over . (Although we forgot to ask due to dispute raised and conversing with the manager ) pathetic . Would never visit and recommend not to visit and spoil your evening with family and friends . Had no choice than why waste food it was consumed . However despite mentioning not to add in bill was still added 3 no one is mad to speak rude . Yes but since you did it was responded similar way The bill was paid online . Your server was slow to connect . Check your clippings . While your manager came running out we were very much standing outside and it was then confirmed by your waiter to him that payment was recvd . The parcel was your duty to handover before customer leaves the table which never happened . Only when we realised and called you you spoke in unethical language and later even asked to deliver which we refused Yes true I do point out negatives as this social media is such that people should be aware of the place before they visit . Aditya Family restaurant & bar located at C.G. road, Chembur East is a typical fine dining restaurant serving Indian and Chinese cuisine. The restaurant was previously known as Anything On the Platter and the current management bought this place a few years back. They have a good spacious outdoor seating area which is preferable for people like me due to the pandemic situation. They also serve spirits by nip in this area whereas inside the restaurant they only serve by peg. Their bar menu is ok and prices are a tad bit expensive. The inside decor isn't much to write about and a revamp is much needed. During our dining at the restaurant, we found the food to be inconsistent quality wise. We ordered Chicken spring rolls and channa garlic fry for starters which were yummy. Spring rolls weren't too oily and fried just right. Next we ordered Mutton Seekh Kabab which was a huge disappointment. Seekh kababs seemed to be cooked in somewhat indo chinese masala and the meat didn't seem fresh enough. Not many options in seafood which again was a downer. Eventually ordered cheese masala omelette with garlic bread which was good thankfully. Service was good and staff were wearing masks throughout our time at the restaurant. The seating area outside was clean and the place started to fill up as the night went by. They do need to revamp the place as it's started to look dated now and food variety and quality needs to be improved. Living in Chembur, not many restaurants were there initially. Aditya is by far one of the oldest restaurants which was there around since a long time like it's neighbor Sadguru (formerly Gurudev). The best part about Aditya is non veg food and drinks. Crowd usually pours in around post 9:30pm and you will observe many families coming by. The service is great while the food is mouth watering. Ambience is a bit less lit maybe to give the essence of the bar yet preserve the hint of family restaurant. However the show stoppers are the sizzlers. If you come to Aditya and don't have sizzler, well then you missed out the beauty for sure. Their range of veg and non veg sizzlers are epic and Aditya shines for it. Definitely a place to check out.
