Barista - Ghatkopar — Restaurant in Mumbai

I recently visited Barista in Ghatkopar and had a mixed experience. Here’s a breakdown of my visit:

Food: N/A I didn’t try the food because it’s all processed and pre-packaged, then microwaved before serving. If you’re looking for freshly prepared meals, this might not be the place for you.

Drinks: 4/5 Stars I tried the tiramisu shake, which was quite good and definitely a highlight. I also had a chocolate-based smoothie—possibly dark chocolate—that was enjoyable. Both drinks were well-prepared and satisfying.

Atmosphere: 2.5/5 Stars The atmosphere in the afternoon is okay, making it a decent spot for a quiet coffee break. However, after 5 PM, the place gets extremely crowded and noisy, making it difficult to have a conversation. We had to move outside to continue our conversation comfortably due to the loud environment inside.

I must say I really enjoyed our evening out with my wife and friend at Barista - Ghatkopar. We had hot chocolate and a peach ice tea along with a spinach mushroom sandwich and another baked dish with mushroom. I must say I really enjoyed the experience. Everything was great. The staff, Danish and Arun made it special with their excellent service. They were very helpful and courteous even at the end of the day in such a stressful work situation. Ghatkopar customers can be overly pesky and demanding. Arun and Danish are capable of handling them with panache. Am visiting Barista after a long time. Was a regular at Chembur and Juhu long back.
