I had ordered and have been here multiple times, sometimes late at night or even for evening snacks or just a satisfying lunch! And I must say, this is a perfect late night place to be, whether you are with your friends or family, chit-chat and have your pallettes devoured with the street style Indian food!
Pav bhaji - earlier it used to be great but now it's more masala and that legacy taste is a bit vanished when compared to what they used to serve is like 8 to 12 years ago. Tawa pulao - Still one of the best!
Mushroom fried rice - Great, although the chunks of mushrooms can be increased. Paneer crispy - Awesome! Gobi Manchurian - Great as well, those crispy and garlicky Gobi Manchurian chunks, ohhh I am drooling already now.......
Dosas are also fantastic here, however the Mysore dosas have been a lot dry than what they used to serve earlier. Uttapams, idlis and medu vadas are also great. The coconut chutney and sambar served along is a perfect pair for these south Indian dishes.
Also, chaas is what one needs here to take out that spiciness and recet your taste buds so you can proceed further with your food. It's perfect , takes out the heat and chills you down, great for your gut too! Sandwiches and pizzas were also decent.
I have visited and ordered from bhagwati pav bhaji so many times that I have successfully experienced more than 75% of their menu!
The Indo-Chinese food here is great! The pav bhaji is decent when compared to what they used to serve like 8 to 12 years ago! The tawa pulao is good. The south Indian cuisine is also good.
Coming to the seating capacity, it's a small place so weekends are almost crowded and full so better go ahead and place online orders from Zomato or swiggy.
Late night(and I mean like 12 or 1 !) ambience that it gets here is so good, like a perfect setting for late night hangings with family or friends.
Overall, one must definitely visit this place once, it's a good spot for the locals and including me, this is a must visit...

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Bhagwati in Kandivali West, and I can confidently say that their pav bhaji left an indelible mark on my taste buds. It was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece.
The pav bhaji at Bhagwati is in a league of its own. The aroma alone, as the sizzling buttery concoction wafted from the kitchen, was enough to whet my appetite. The dish was served piping hot, and the vibrant colors of the bhaji made it clear that this was a fresh and authentic rendition.
The pav (soft bread rolls) were perfectly toasted, just the right amount of crispy on the outside, and wonderfully soft on the inside. But the star of the show was, without a doubt, the bhaji. It was a rich, flavorful, and utterly indulgent blend of mixed vegetables cooked to perfection. The balance of spices was spot-on, and the generous dollop of butter on top added a luxurious touch.
What sets Bhagwati apart is their dedication to quality. The vegetables were obviously fresh, and the pav bhaji was free from any artificial additives. It's a true celebration of traditional Indian flavors.
The service at Bhagwati was prompt and courteous, and the ambiance was cozy, making it a perfect spot for a comforting meal. I highly recommend giving their pav bhaji a try. It's a taste of Mumbai that you won't soon forget.
Bhagwati has certainly earned its place as one of my favorite destinations for pav bhaji in Kandivali West. I'll be returning soon to explore more of their menu, and I can't wait to experience their culinary delights once again
