I recently visited Blue Tokai, and while I acknowledge its potential for growth and development, my overall experience fell short of expectations. Known for their exceptional coffee and food, this particular outlet failed to provide the warm and inviting atmosphere I have come to associate with the brand. Here's a breakdown of my visit:
Ambiance: Unfortunately, the cafe lacked the inviting ambiance that I have experienced at other Blue Tokai locations. The atmosphere felt somewhat cold and impersonal, leaving much to be desired in terms of comfort and coziness.
Service: The staff's training and courtesy left room for improvement. It seemed that they could benefit from better training to ensure a more customer-oriented approach. The lack of attentiveness and overall politeness detracted from the overall experience. This is does not apply for all the staff but for a few among them.
Food and Coffee: The one shining aspect of my visit was the quality of the food and coffee. Blue Tokai is well-known for their excellent coffee, and it lived up to its reputation at this location as well. The food, too, was commendable and met my expectations in terms of taste and presentation.
Service Incident: Regrettably, my experience was marred by an incident that occurred during my visit. Despite specifically ordering a combo, I did not receive the combo. To add to the disappointment, I was later asked to pay extra for the item. This lack of attention to detail and the subsequent inconvenience significantly impacted my overall perception of the cafe.
In conclusion, Blue Tokai has the potential to become a great cafe, but there are several areas that need improvement. While the coffee and food were commendable, the lackluster ambiance, poorly trained staff, and the service mishap prevented me from giving it a higher rating. I sincerely hope that Blue Tokai addresses these issues to provide a better experience for...

Read moreBlue Tokai was a good find since my family loves coffee & munch on baked goods. The location is right adjacent to the Apollo Hospital, in the same compound. Walk fast & you might miss the entrance ( that's what happened the first time) I'm not sure why people complain about the location, ambience, food quality. To my family, all of the above were good enough to tick all the right boxes. The coffee roasting & prep are right next to the eating area. So, it's an interesting view. Location is much smaller when compared to other location. But there is a certain charm to it. Food wise, menu is more or less the same. Our usual treats are the French Toast, Chicken Ham & Scrambled Eggs, Avocado Toast, along with Coffee. Another plus point is the cafe being pet friendly. Our preferred time is early mornings, to avoid the usual day rush. Eating at a slow pace is something we city folks have forgotten. Much thanks to the staff of Blue Tokai for timely service & explanations regarding the various roasts of coffee available there. All-in-all, a good morning investment for a fully satisfied stomach, & a smile...
