If you're looking for authentic South Indian cuisine in a convenient location, then you need to try Hotel Shubhalaxmi at chembur. This place is an absolute gem, offering some of the most delicious dosa and idlis I've ever tasted, with the added bonus of easy parking right outside the restaurant.
The first thing that struck me upon entering the restaurant was the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The decor is simple yet elegant, with plenty of natural light and comfortable seating. The staff were also incredibly friendly and attentive, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in.
But of course, the highlight of the meal was the food. The dosas were light, crispy, and perfectly cooked, with just the right amount of filling. The idlis were fluffy and flavorful, and paired perfectly with the accompanying chutneys and sambar. I also highly recommend the filter coffee, which was the perfect end to a fantastic meal.
Finally, the location is incredibly convenient, situated right at Chembur Circle, making it easily accessible from all parts of the city. And with parking available right outside the restaurant, you won't have to worry about...
Read moreWe went to this hotel to have food. The hotel staff gave us a vegetable which was stale and the roti was also stale. We told them that the vegetable is stinking, then they took the vegetable and gave us the same vegetable after heating it again. We told the manager and he said that we want the same vegetable packed, the manager asked the hotel staff ,what happened, the staff said that the vegetables were boiled and that is why they are stinking. And they did not give us the stale vegetable that we asked for, but packed another paneer sabzi and then the staff said that they have given you paneer sabzi instead of stale vegetable. We wanted that stale vegetable, we wanted to get that vegetable lab tested, but due to heavy rain that day the roads were blocked so we could not call the police there. We request you that life is precious, no matter whose it is. If you eat food in this hotel, then eat it with caution. Thank you .. Hotel Shubh laxmi , deonar...
Read moreDisappointing Experience at Shubhlaxmi @shivaji circle chembur Salty Food, Hidden Charges, and Arrogance

To add insult to injury, they charged for dry noodles, a complimentary item in many five-star hotels in Mumbai. This felt like a blatant attempt to squeeze more money out of customers while providing subpar service.
What truly soured the experience was the arrogant behavior of the hotelier. Instead of acknowledging our concerns and apologizing for the shortcomings, they dismissed our complaints with an air of superiority, as if customer satisfaction was an inconvenience to them.
Visit to Shubhlaxmi @shivaji circle chembur was a regrettable experience. I would not recommend it to anyone seeking a pleasant dining...
