I’m writing this to formally report a serious safety incident that occurred at the Blue Tokai Versova outlet, and to express my growing concern over the complete lack of security and responsiveness from the staff.

On 16th july , I was at the café attending an online office meeting when a middle-aged man entered the premises with a blasting speaker playing extremely loud and vulgar music. He was verbally abusive, cussing at customers, and accompanied by a child carrying a pack of water bottles. When I politely requested him to lower the volume, he ignored me, and on a second request, he gave me a death stare, abused me, and turned the music up even louder. He continued to yell aggressively, creating an environment that felt deeply unsafe and disturbing.

What’s worse — none of the staff took any action. They were completely unresponsive, despite witnessing the incident unfold in front of them. This lack of intervention made the situation even more alarming, especially for a café chain like Blue Tokai that is expected to uphold a standard of safety and comfort.

This is not the first time. I’ve been visiting this outlet regularly for over a year, and there’s a known individual — a homeless man — who enters the café frequently, speaking loudly, behaving erratically, and making several customers uncomfortable. And yet, there continues to be no security protocol or presence in place to address such recurring issues.

As a loyal customer, I am extremely disappointed and concerned. What happened today was not only unacceptable, it was genuinely threatening. I felt vulnerable and unsupported in a space I usually considered safe.

I sincerely urge the management to:

Implement basic security measures at the outlet.

Train staff to handle threatening or disruptive behavior.

Take immediate action to prevent such incidents in the future.

I am sharing this experience not just as a complaint, but also as a warning to other customers — because people deserve to know when their safety is at risk.

I hope Blue Tokai treats this with the seriousness...

Visited Blue Tokai - Versova outlet.

It began as a disapponting experince but some how the staff pulled it off to make my experience at Blue Tokai enjoyable.

We ordered, Vietnamese coffee, Triccona coffee Chocolate hazelnut croissant.

The staff was given clear instructions tht we wud be having the coffee at the outlet yet we were served in take away cups.(reason - not enough glasses)

The server didnt even know which takeaway cup had which coffee.

The staff very conviniently emptied the vietnamase coffee from the takeaway cup into a glass container leaving behind the condensed milk in the takeaway cup. Resulting in a watery black coffee(with zero sweetness)

Finally after reaching out to the person incharge for the third time. The coffee was made the way it shud have been made at the first go. On our tables. With a digital weighing scale. Perfect amt of black coffee, good amount of condensed milk. Topped with a lot of ice.

Something still had to go wrong - while adding ice to this mix, to avoid it to fall off on the tables, the staff used hands - without any gloves.(came across unhygenic)

Third time lucky - a perfect vietnamese coffee.

The tricconna was creamy, old school cold coffee. A perfect fusion of instant, Dhak blend cold brew and signature expresso.

The chocolate hazelnut croissant filled with hazelnut pastry filling dipped in chocolate and hazelnut crumbs just mindnlowing, soft and flaky.
