The best corner in Pali hill to enjoy lip smacking and authentic North Indian and Mughlai cuisine!
Compact outlet with amazing interiors and super comfortable seating! Their food menu is fantastic and has large varieties for both vegetarians and non vegetarians! Totally loved the quality of food that is being served here. Polite staff and excellent service.
We went here for dinner! Tried few refreshing drinks and delicious food. Aam panna and Shikanji are definitely a must try at this place.
For the appetizers we had dahi ke kebabs, stuffed tandoori Mushrooms, soya tikka Achari and Paneer tikka!
Believe me Dahi ke kebab was out of the world and I bet it's one of the best that you will get in Mumbai, crisp and hot outside, melting flavours fresh infused curd inside. Served along with mint dip! I actually finished one entire plate! Highly recommend trying this!
Paneer Tikka, fresh soft paneer chunks very well marinated and grilled to perfection in a clay pot oven! Marination is the magic and they know it very well. Loved it.
Soya tikka achari, juicy and well marinated soya chaap with perfect texture and taste. Not too much chewy is what defines the perfect chaap and this was indeed perfect. Exactly delhi style chaap. It will definitely delight you if you are a chaap lover!
For the mains we had, Dal makhni with steam rice, butter chicken, kadai panner and some super soft and piping hot roti basket.
Butter chicken, very well cooked tender and juicy chicken in absolutely velvety gravy loaded with butter! Flavour bomb in each bite and it literally melts in mouth! Definitely a not to miss dish when at this place! Pair it with rice or paratha or tandoori roti it's totally heaven in all combinations!
Paneer Kadai! To all my vegetarian friends don't go by the name! This place serves absolutely delicious vegetarian food too. Fresh veggies, soft paneer chunks and apt amount of spices and mild hint of ajwain! Had a lip smacking paneer gravy after very long time.
Dal makhni! Slow cooked, perfect texture, melt in mouth and great aroma. Portion size good enough for two. We paired it with steam rice, long grains quality rice, cooked to perfection, fluffy as required.
To complete this lovely dinner we ordered their house made gulkand ice-cream, top notch presentation and it was completely like a Paan. Rich creamy with perfect consistency. Do try this it will definitely delight you.
Overall, value for money place to enjoy Authentic north Indian and Mughlai food. We just loved the quality and taste of food that is being served at this place. Overall it was...
Read moreTwo things that come in mind when you dine at 'The Butter Chicken Factoy', 'HOME FOOD'.
Me & my wife had a blessed time when trying out their Delhi Style Recipe.. It shows that even Home Cooked Food sells too.
We were gracefully welcomed by Aditya who escorted us to our table and was introduced to Rahul who had recommended what was worth trying.
Let me say both Aditya & Rahul really made us feel at HOME... Thank you both
While the Bandra Crowd started showing of with their cutlery skills, me & my wife started off using our GOD given hands
We started off with the main course
Butter Chicken
Their curry worth trying out, this had a uniquely rich curry based, Delhi styled Butter Chicken which was truly a treat for those butter chicken fans... It is both sweet & Spicy not forgetting the rich homely made curry. It was magnificent.
Mutton Chaap Bhuna
Another of their signature curries, Delhi style Mutton Chaap Bhuna which is a masala based and there was alot going on if you knew what i am trying to say.
This is a one pot recipe made with chop, yogurt and simple ingredients. You can serve Mutton This particular Curry had a delicious taste of Delhi styled Mutton Masala with the meat cooked in well done. Another of this dishes worth trying.
Chur Naan
This Delhi special Naan you need to order to enjoy both the curries with. The Chur Naan, crispy texture gave the regular naans a new high with a mixture of Stuffing like Boiled potato,Finely chopped onion, coriander, Garam Masala,Dry Mango Power,Carom Seeds,Salt.
The Chur Naan is one heavy Naan and so im guessing you can eat one only...
Lacha Paratha basically, a multi layered indian flat bread prepared with wheat & plain flour.
Chilli Garlic Naan the garlic naan was so good. It is exactly the way a naan should be not at all chewy & hard the way we get in other restaurants.
Chilli Pineapple Raita One of the best Raitas i had with mixture off chopped chillis & pineapple pieces mixed in Raita. Best had with 'Chur Naan' & both the curries mixed... wow
Mint water & Khati meeti Chaas Your usual drink nothing exciting.
Gulukand Ice Cream Gulkand is nothing but Rose petal jam. Gulkand is known to be great for summer and acts as a coolant to your body.
Consumed mainly after having meals, owing to its nature of firing the digestion
This totally tasted like a paan ice cream but at the end it was magnificent
This really helped when it comes to sweetening your tooth.
Our over all experience was totally Awesome... Calling all you foodies to have the delicacies with less oil and Home made...
Read moreButter Chicken Factory - my first visit at the Bandra outlet. Been ordering from Bandra and Kemps Korner. This guy has a proper sitting. Loved the ambiance. Neat/compact. Don't go by the name. They have some amazing food in the vegetarian section. Dahi Kebabs are yum so is their Chana Pindi.
Our dinner - Dahi Kebab, perfect balance of spices. Golden brown. Hung curd with Cardamom and coriander. Aromatic at the same time balance and texture perfect. Delhi speciality made equally taste in Bombay. Full marks. No flaws.
Achari Paneer Tikka - yum. Malai Paneer marinated with Achari masala (pickle) gave that tangy tad spicy taste. Cooked in clay oven. Served hot. Full marks.
Pindi Chana Dry - this is a simple yet delicate dish to make. Perfect texture/Balance of spices as the key. These guys make it well. Trust me it takes you to Punjab. It's basically a dry dish (meant to be that way) Traditional style of cooking gets the best flavours. Loved having this with Roti. Must order.
House Special Dal - slow cooking is an art if you want to get this correct. Their signature dish and a house speciality. 12 hours of slow cooking gets you that Smokey flavour. Not sweet. Spices just perfect. Rich and goes well with Roomali or rice. Another dish worth trying.
Last but not the least - Butter Chicken at the Butter Chicken Factory - Boneless pieces. Personally feel seeing the softness its pulled chicken hence the tender juicy texture. Cooked in rich tomato gravy. This could have been a bit thick. But Delhi is all about authentic food and they follow the Delhi style of cooking - full marks. Chur Naan and Butter chicken a perfect combination. Go for it.
I am not a dessert person but their Gulukand Ice cream is to die for. Homemade. Churned and whipped for about 5 hours at the end a lovely velvety rich texture. It's basically betel nut (Areca nut) very thin slices as a garnish along with strings of Magai Paan. Some Gulukand as a garnish. All these topped over Ice cream .Have all elements together and you will feel you are eating a Paan. Loved it.
Phudina Pani - basically tangy mint and masala flavour. Overall Refreshing.
Any day anytime for Butter Chicken factory BUT at their Outlet. By the way they have one at Kemps Corner as well which I presume is good some amazing numbers and the latest opening is at Lokhandwala. Go for...
