Nestled in the heart of Bandra West, Mumbai, Cafe Condi stands as a true hidden gem that beautifully encapsulates the essence of cozy, laid-back café culture. Located at 14-A, Waroda Rd, Ranwar, this charming café is a must-visit for anyone seeking an oasis of tranquility in the bustling city. **Ambiance and Decor** The first thing that strikes you about Cafe Condi is its warm and inviting ambiance. The décor is a delightful blend of rustic charm and modern aesthetics, creating an atmosphere that is both cozy and stylish. The exposed brick walls, wooden furniture, and soft lighting contribute to a homely yet chic vibe. The café's interior is thoughtfully designed, with comfortable seating arrangements that cater to both solo visitors and groups. Whether you’re looking for a quiet corner to read a book or a communal table to catch up with friends, Cafe Condi has it all. One of the standout features of Cafe Condi is its outdoor seating area. Surrounded by greenery and adorned with fairy lights, the alfresco section is perfect for enjoying a meal under the open sky. It’s an ideal spot for those cool Mumbai evenings when you want to soak in the ambiance with a cup of coffee. **Menu and Food Quality** Cafe Condi offers a diverse menu that caters to various tastes and preferences. From hearty breakfast options to sumptuous lunch and dinner dishes, the café has something for everyone. The emphasis on fresh, locally sourced ingredients is evident in every bite. For breakfast, the avocado toast and eggs benedict are highly recommended. The avocado toast is served on freshly baked bread, topped with perfectly ripe avocados, cherry tomatoes, and a drizzle of olive oil. The eggs benedict, on the other hand, is a classic dish executed to perfection, with poached eggs, hollandaise sauce, and smoked salmon. The café also boasts an impressive selection of salads, sandwiches, and mains. The quinoa salad with grilled vegetables and feta cheese is a refreshing and healthy choice, while the chicken club sandwich is a filling and flavorful option. For mains, the spaghetti aglio e olio and the grilled chicken with mashed potatoes are crowd favorites. Cafe Condi is also renowned for its desserts and pastries. The croissants, muffins, and cakes are freshly baked daily, and the chocolate truffle cake is a must-try for any chocolate lover. Pair your dessert with a cup of their signature coffee, and you’re in for a treat. **Coffee and Beverages** A café is only as good as its coffee, and Cafe Condi excels in this department. The baristas are skilled and passionate about their craft, ensuring that every cup of coffee is brewed to perfection. Whether you prefer a classic espresso, a creamy latte, or a refreshing iced coffee, you won’t be disappointed. The café also offers a range of teas, smoothies, and fresh juices. The green tea smoothie and the cold-pressed orange juice are particularly popular choices. For those looking for something more indulgent, the hot chocolate and the milkshakes are rich and satisfying. **Service** The service at Cafe Condi is top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure that you have a pleasant dining experience. The wait times are generally short, and the food is served promptly and with a smile. **Location and Accessibility** Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Bandra West, Cafe Condi is easily accessible by public transport and has ample parking space nearby. The café is situated in a quiet lane, away from the hustle and bustle of the main roads, making it a peaceful retreat in the city. **Community and Events** Cafe Condi is more than just a café; it’s a community hub. The café regularly hosts events such as live music performances, poetry readings, and art exhibitions. These events add to the café’s charm and make it a lively spot to visit. It’s a place where artists, musicians, and writers come together to share their talents and connect with like-m

Imagine a nice long hug from a best friend? This is the eating place equivalent of that. A hole in the wall, yellow-lit, four-tabled Bandra gully joint, Cafe Condi is one of my favourite places in Mumbai. In the business of making crêpes and continental breakfast, this place really understands food and how to make it. So, what to have here? If you're dropping in for brunch (they open around 10-11), order their full continental breakfast—it's sausages, bacon, omlette, hash browns, the most wonderfully soft croissants, with a few other extras. If you're going for lunch/a snack/dinner—go for a crêpe. Okay, so what are crêpes? These are roti-thin wheat pancakes, that are Eiger stuffed with savory fillings, and then topped with vegetables/cream cheese/etc. Or they are sweet, filled/folded and loaded with maple syrup, orange glaze, etc. My favourites are their salmon and cream cheese and Goan sausage in savory; and in sweet Suzette (which is so good but just for 95 bucks) and the one with mascapone. The place has a nice, cosy vibe. It has a loft of sorts, atop a metal staircase which has two cute tables surrounded by books and boardgames. A Friday evening over crêpes and a game of mastermind/battleship is a lot of fun here. Top it off with coffee or ice tea (though we always have to add sugar to the latter). The highlight of this place is the cooking, and the woman behind the magic is Saeda, this lovely 20-something lady who really understands western spices, sauce textures and stuffing. She told it off with a lot of smiling, and remembering how you like your galettes, which makes it all the more better. (Please leave her a tip in the tip jar!) The manager is usually great fun, and very nice, and is the man behind the music—so make sure you pass on your recommendations of you're looking for anything in particular. To be honest, I can't think of any kind. It isn't too big, and I'm always nervous I won't get a place. It has just two books, so sometimes service can be slow: but it's always worth it. Go have a nice time!

I would call Cafe Condi the heaven for crepe lovers. A nice and cozy place tucked in the heart of Bandra West, Cafe Condi makes you want to just disconnect from all the technology you own and enjoy a good time with your family or friends along with their delicious crepe's. The ambience gives you a nice vintage feel and the cozy seating just does not give you a reason to feel tired sitting there. You can always put your phone on silent and enjoy some classic board games or if you are alone, they have a good collection of books you can read from. We chose the games and we never realised how time flew by till our Crepe's were served. The crepe's were just perfect! We started off with the Ham and Cheese which was filled with heart warming ham and on top a good serving of melted cheese. Trust me, you cannot stop or share. The second one was Pesto Chicken which was amazing but it would be difficult to choose between the two so I would recommend a strong appetite. The finish off with dessert, we had the Nutella Banana Crepe. Now, I am sure I wouldn't need to describe this one but if you really love Nutella or want to convert someone to be a Nutella lover, then this is the one. We ended up cleaning out the plate and licking up the cutlery that had Nutella on it (Yes, it was me and I am guilty). Over-all, one of my favourite places I have been to during my visit to Mumbai and I would recommend you visit this place. I rarely give a restaurant 5 as rating but Condi Cafe deserves it from the ambience to food and the amazing staff that make you feel welcomed with a big smile!
