Cafe coffee day (CCD) — Restaurant in Mumbai

I have never eaten solid food there, but the coffee and service around coffee have been atrocious.

First, you have to allow 10-15 minutes to get your brew even if there is no one else in queue (the staff is too busy chatting with each other).

Far worse, the staff has no working definition of a cappuccino or a latte. Once I asked for a cappuccino to go. They recorded the order incorrectly and brewed in chinaware. When the mistake was pointed out, they poured out the drink to a paper cup, destroying everything cappuccino about it! In another visit, they did the opposite.

They also cannot distinguish between how to prepare a cappuccino vs. a latte.

I know, these are first-world demands, but CCD does charge almost first-world prices, even at current exchange rates! Finally, the place is noisy and there is much echo and reverb. It is difficult to hold a quiet conversation undisturbed by other conversations.

Thumb-down. Better go to Cafe92 a little further...

I tried almost everything in the menu since I came here as an exchange student. Coffee and cafe culture is a must for me, and I thought there would not be such a place here but I was wrong. I really like the cheesecake and americano. Latte and other products are also great.

My favorite was iced lemon green coffee which was made of fresh coffee beans and lemon. Unfortunately it is discontinued. It was the most refreshing and energizing drink here. How sad.

Another point is that some students sometimes tend to sit inside which has a good AC, without buying anything, for hours. Sometimes when I want to sit under AC and do my work while drinking my coffee, there is no...

Bad service Below average coffee Below average and overly expensive food for its price and services provided. Absolute bad attitude by the baristas.

It appals me, the way a customer is spoken to here. Everytime you order something, you are judged for making that order.. something as common as a cappuccino, doesn't taste good enough (well that can be subjective) but one can speak to the customer with respect?

Two people can't order a single coffee, you have to order two separate coffees.. I mean I don't wanna have a coffee (because it taste so bad ) but I wanna sit with my friend and talk...
