🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Authentic Delights at Dheli Se: A Culinary Journey to Remember! I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dheli Se, and I must say, it was an exquisite culinary experience that left me utterly delighted. This restaurant truly encapsulates the essence of authentic Indian cuisine, offering a delightful array of dishes that are prepared with utmost care and bursting with flavor. Let's delve into the highlights of my gastronomic journey at Dheli Se: 1. **Chole Bhature:** The Chole Bhature at Dheli Se are nothing short of perfection. The fluffy, golden-brown bhaturas paired with the rich and flavorful chole make for a match made in culinary heaven. Each bite is a burst of savory goodness that lingers on your taste buds, leaving you craving for more. 2. **Aloo Tikki:** The Aloo Tikki served at Dheli Se is a true testament to traditional flavors done right. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, these potato patties are seasoned to perfection and served with a tangy tamarind chutney that elevates the dish to a whole new level of deliciousness. 3. **Paneer Kulcha:** If you're a fan of paneer, then Dheli Se's Paneer Kulcha is a must-try. The soft, pillowy kulchas stuffed with flavorful paneer filling are a delight for the senses. Paired with a side of creamy raita, this dish is a symphony of textures and tastes that will leave you wanting more. 4. **Afghani Chap:** The Afghani Chap at Dheli Se is a true showstopper. Tender, succulent pieces of marinated meat grilled to perfection and served with aromatic spices make this dish a standout favorite among meat lovers. The flavors are bold yet balanced, making it a memorable culinary experience. What sets Dheli Se apart is not just the exceptional quality of its food but also the warm and welcoming ambiance, attentive service, and a commitment to preserving the authenticity of Indian cuisine. Whether you're a connoisseur of Indian food or someone looking to embark on a flavorful journey, Dheli Se is a definite five-star destination that will leave you coming back for more. Delhi Se, nestled in the heart of Chembur, is a culinary gem for those seeking authentic North Indian street food. Known for its rich flavors and traditional recipes, the restaurant offers a variety of dishes, but it is their Chole Kulche that truly stands out. The Chole Kulche at Delhi Se is a delightful blend of textures and tastes, reminiscent of the bustling streets of Delhi. The kulchas, soft and fluffy, are perfectly cooked, with a slight crispiness that adds to their charm. They serve as an ideal accompaniment to the chole, which is rich, spicy, and full of flavors. The chole is expertly cooked, with chickpeas simmered to perfection in a fragrant gravy of onions, tomatoes, and a blend of spices that linger on the palate. What makes Delhi Se’s Chole Kulche exceptional is the balance of flavors. The spices are bold yet harmonious, creating a dish that is satisfying and comforting. The inclusion of fresh garnishes like chopped onions, coriander, and a squeeze of lime adds a refreshing contrast, enhancing the overall experience. The ambiance of the restaurant complements the food, with its vibrant decor and a warm, inviting atmosphere that makes diners feel at home. The staff is attentive and eager to ensure a pleasant dining experience. In summary, Delhi Se's Chole Kulche is a must-try for anyone visiting Chembur. It captures the essence of North Indian street food, offering a delicious journey through flavors that is both nostalgic and delightful.

A Masterstroke in Marketing, But Food Falls Short I recently visited this restaurant, intrigued by its clever use of social media hype and celebrity endorsements. While the marketing strategy was impressive, the food itself was underwhelming. Ordered the heavily promoted dishes: 1. Chole Bhatura 2. Kulcha Chole 3. Lassi Unfortunately, the Chole, supposedly the star of the show, was far from authentic or palatable. The Kabuli Chana (chickpeas) was unevenly cooked, with some hard and some soft. The flavor profile was off, with a tomato-based gravy overpowering the dish. The Bhatura was the lone highlight, thin and flaky, but clearly relied heavily on rising agents, leaving a bloated feeling. The Aloo Kulcha was a disappointment, overly fatty and chewy. Once it cooled, it became unpleasantly rubbery. The Lassi, while not bad, failed to impress, especially considering better options nearby. In conclusion, don't fall for the marketing gimmick. With numerous superior eateries within a 100-meter radius, particularly in food heaven Chembur Camp, this place doesn't cut it. Don't rely solely on celebrity endorsements these are purely don't on commercial terms, Authenticity trumps marketing hype.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Delhi Se Restaurant in Chembur, and I must say it was a delightful experience. As a North Indian who has spent a significant amount of time in Punjab, I was in search of authentic flavors that could transport me back to the heart of North India. Delhi Se Restaurant did not disappoint.

I ordered the Chole Bhature and the Special Kulcha, two classic North Indian dishes that hold a special place in my heart. The moment the plates arrived at my table, I was greeted by the aroma of spices that instantly brought back memories of my time in Punjab. The taste was incredibly authentic, just like the dishes I used to savor back in the North. The chole (spiced chickpeas) were perfectly cooked, rich in flavor, and had the right balance of spices. The bhature (deep-fried bread) were fluffy, yet crispy, and complemented the chole perfectly. The special kulcha was stuffed with a flavorful filling and had a delightful combination of textures and tastes.

Though there was a wait time of around 30 minutes, I can confidently say that it was well worth it. The freshness and quality of the food made the wait insignificant. Moreover, it was a testament to the popularity of Delhi Se Restaurant and the demand for their delicious offerings.

The owners of Delhi Se Restaurant were a delightful couple who made the dining experience even more enjoyable. They were sweet, helpful, and genuinely passionate about their food. Their warm hospitality added a personal touch to the overall experience and made me feel right at home.

The ambiance of the restaurant was cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating and tasteful decor that showcased elements of North Indian culture. The staff members were attentive and provided excellent service throughout my visit.

In conclusion, Delhi Se Restaurant in Chembur is a hidden gem for anyone craving authentic North Indian cuisine. The Chole Bhature and Special Kulcha were mouth-watering and reminiscent of the flavors I experienced during my time in Punjab. Despite the wait time, the delicious food, warm hospitality of the owners, and overall dining experience made it all worthwhile. I highly recommend visiting Delhi Se Restaurant to satisfy your cravings for a taste of...

Make way for another overrated 'trending' place in Bombay/Mumbai.

This city is full of places which people & the internet raves about and swears by, but more often than not, they are disappointing.

Apart from Japanese food & salads, I have not come across amazing restaurants which could be comparable with what you get at Delhi and Bangalore. Maharashtrian (Malwan & Konkan) style sea food obviously is good at multiple places. Rest of Maharashtra although is better at that too. Pune, Malvan and even Satara.

Now coming to Delhi Se, it's located in a bad neighborhood which has traffic and not so pleasant surroundings. The 'to die for' chhole bhature here is worse than what you would get at any random local famous eatery or Street joint in Delhi. I am not even getting into comparison with Amritsar and hidden gems like Karnal.

The spice wasn't cooked properly which leaves some bitterness in the mouth, Bhatura was freshly deep-fried but lacked texture and taste. The dough felt more like freshly made dough without any curd and other things in it. And chhole was below average. The smell, the spice, the taste, everything was lacking. It was a like a Chinese copy of iPhone, if you have seen one. Google it, if you haven't.

There is nothing to write about the place either in terms of ambience, which I wasn't expecting either so just let that be. It's not great for sure.

All in all, it's not worth the ride to that place. And it's even more overrated than some places in south Mumbai for North Indian chicken dishes. (no prizes for...
