Dhanraj restaurant and bar, a watering hole located at the outskirts of Chembur, is your typical average fare restaurant. This place used to be my adda during my college days and understandably, I'm happy to say that many fond memories are linked to this place. I'm talking about a time way back late 90's. Visited this place recently and it has undergone a much needed renovation. This is your typical Shetty joint, downstairs is the non ac section and upstairs is the ac section. Food menu is limited and average, and bar menu is priced moderately. On weekends, this place is full, and generally there's a waiting. Service is slow and the present service staff except for one is all new and lack in experience. Nothing exceptional in this place and the place warrants a 2.5 star. The extra is purely due to my many memories built to this place. The location isn't much to write about but is located on a very busy street and parking isn't available. One of the cheap and best place in chembur. If coming with girls or family, come during day time in ac section as it's still considered as goto bar for most locals.
