Rajhans Hotel — Hotel in Mumbai

It is a good hotel to stay for a couple of days if you are visiting chembur for work. It is in front of chembur station and you just need to cross the road to go from one to the other. This road remains very crowded in peak hours, holidays and festivals because of street vendors. Don't consider driving through road in those days, I am sure you will waste a long time in traffic.

Please don't visit this hotel if you have knee problem, because there is no elevator and stairs are also very narrow. Reception is on the first floor. And you have to carry your luggage to room by stairs only, so be careful. You will be lucky if house keeping person carries your bags.

Hotel staff is friendly well dressed but not sophisticated, you may find them speaking about their personal matters and laughing loudly in front of you.

A partition door beside the reception will take you to the restaurant, which offers buffet breakfast. Don't expect variety of foods in breakfast. They offer medu vada, sambhar, chatni and fruits. But everything is tasty. You won't regret having morning meal in that restaurant.

You may choose a room with no AC, window or split AC, and fare varies accordingly. I stayed in a room with window AC. Room is not very big but sufficient enough you are alone. Room service is fast and food is tasty. Minibar is only to show, you won't find anything inside.

Bathrooms are standard with average bath fittings and other accessories.

Overall the experience was good. At first was in executive room, specious enough for one person. Equipped with wardrobe, sofa, table and chair. Room and hygiene was 5 star. I had to extend my stay for one day, executive room was not available, they arranged Standard room. The room was ok, little less spacious and equipped than executive room. Hygiene was 5 star. Room was ok ok so 4 star. Food - Breakfast (buffet) was included was, had options like fruit, juice, bread butter, idli, dosa, wada, aloo paratha, bhurji pav etc. At night we had to order dinner. We tried dal fry, dum aloo kashmiri, Makhmali koftas, zeera aloo, Overall taste was ok, but comparing the prices quantity might have benn less so 4 star. I guess the hotel was good enough but the only problem was the service was not good as it should be according to their charges. But hotel setup was amazing , the entrance and the reception area and room were fantastic. Servicing was also good just that it was taking time. And yes wi-fi connection was there but still we were not able to use network as it was down. And Air-conditioning was not as good it should be fully cold. Washroom facility was good. Over all everything was good. Just they need to take less time in check-in and their formalities were irritating. Should improve in their services is all I can say but the hotel has the great Infrastructure I can say that even beds are soft and comfortable all we want that.
