Doolally recently launched a new beer – Mulberry Cider. This Valentine’s Day special from the brewery’s grumpy brewmaster features a crisp apple cider base with the rich, dark berry flavor of juicy mulberries from Panchgani and Mahabaleshwar. At 5.5% ABV, it’s lightly sweet, tart, and completely refreshing. Along with this beauty, you can enjoy a range of beers, ciders, and meads, including Apple Cider, Coffee Orange Mead, Guava Mead, Belgian Witbier, Hefeweizen, Rauchweizen, NEIPA, and more. For those unsure of their choice, they offer tasters so you can sample before you settle on your favorite.

While sipping on these delicious brews, we tried a variety of food options that were nothing short of delightful. The American Breakfast starter was a hit, bursting with flavor, and the Kaffir Fried Chicken was crispy and absolutely mind-blowing. For the main course, we followed the chef’s recommendation of the BBQ Chicken Pizza, which balanced sweet and spicy flavors perfectly. The Kheema Ghotala was another standout, offering a rich and satisfying taste.

To wash it all down, we opted for a refreshing Strawberry Iced Tea and Cold Coffee, both of which were excellent choices. And for dessert, we ended our meal with the Baked Chocolate Cheesecake, which was simply irresistible – the perfect sweet ending to a memorable dining experience.

I recently visited the Doolally Taproom in Andheri, India's first microbrewery, and it was an exceptional experience. This brewhouse offers an amazing vibe and a wonderful atmosphere that truly enhances the craft beer experience.

One of the highlights of my visit was the set of free beer tasters I received. Among the four beverages, the Blueberry Cider stood out with its fruit-forward profile, slightly sweet and tart flavor. It reminded me of a fat stack of blueberry pancakes, but in a glass. The other tasters included the Apple Cider, Alphonso Mead, and Coffee Orange Mead, each with its unique taste and character.

The food was equally impressive. I started with the Kerala Pepper Prawns and Chicken Chilli from the small plates menu, both of which were packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. For the mains, I enjoyed the Kosha Murghi and Mangalorean Chicken Ghee Roast, which were both hearty and delicious.

Doolally Taproom's pet-friendly environment is a big plus for animal lovers. The interiors are thoughtfully designed with a collection of board games, books, comics, and posters, providing a cozy and engaging atmosphere. There's also a dedicated working space and workshop area equipped with a projector, plug points, wifi, and wheelchair-friendly ramps, making it an ideal spot for both leisure and productivity.

The taproom hosts various workshops and events, including a fun pub quiz every Wednesday at 8:30 pm. It's a great way to spend the evening, with questions, prizes, and, of course, beer.
