Dumpling Khang is a place I’ve been going to since 2019 — I still remember the first time I tried their chicken thupka and how much I absolutely loved it. It had this authentic, comforting flavour that made me come back again and again. For a long time, I used to order their momo-thupka combo on a monthly basis — and back then it felt totally worth it. It was around ₹170, came with a generous bowl of soup and 6 momos, and tasted super fresh. Over time, of course, the price went up (₹190… ₹200… and now it’s ₹320-350 if you order online), but what’s more disappointing is that the quality has definitely gone down. The thupka still hits on some days, but the momos have become really average — they taste like pre-packed ones just deep-fried and served. Not the fresh, soft, flavourful momos they used to be. There’s also this dish called Laughing — which they hype up quite a bit — but honestly, it was very underwhelming. It’s basically some kind of roll (reminded me of Gujarati khaman) with Maggi/Wai Wai noodles stuffed inside, and that’s it. For the price, it really doesn’t deliver. We also tried their Nepali thali on our recent visit — again, something they highly recommended. But that was another miss. It had rice, basic dal, some greens, one sabzi (usually an aloo sabzi), a small portion of chicken gravy and achar. It was okay, not bad, but definitely not something I’d go back for. Now coming to the space itself — it’s tiny. Like, four tables tiny. So only four groups (of 3–4 people max) can sit at a time. Because of that, if you go during peak hours, it gets super crowded and you may have to wait. And even after placing your order, the food can take a while to arrive. That said, the place does give off a very warm, comforting, homely vibe. It’s the kind of small place that makes you want to curl up with soup on a rainy day. They also usually do these combo offers during New Year and other festivals — where you get a set number of dishes or momos for a fixed price. I’d honestly recommend that more than dining in right now. The combos are way more reasonable and they get delivered to your home, so you skip the waiting and the crowd. So yeah — if you’ve never tried it, go for their soups. They still remind me of the flavours from Himachal. But otherwise, the rest of the food is average, prices are high now, and the overall experience just isn’t what it used to be.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Dumpling Khang and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The quality of the food was outstanding, with each dumpling bursting with flavor and perfectly cooked. The ingredients were fresh and of high quality, making every bite a true treat. The service was exceptional as well. The staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure to accommodate any special requests we had. They were also knowledgeable about the menu and offered great recommendations. The ambiance of the restaurant was homely, creating a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for diners. In terms of value for money, Dumpling Corner definitely delivers. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and service. Overall, I highly recommend Dumpling Khang for the delicious food and exceptional service to the inviting atmosphere and great value for money. I can't wait to visit again and try even more of their delectable offerings.

This restaurant is quietly located on a busy street of Santacruz East. Definately not hard to miss. The Vibe is just right for a weekend Dineout with family or hangout with friends, but be a little patient as it may take long then you expect for your food to arrive. You will be welcomed by a very nice lady with a bright smile but try and make the payment via Cash, Gpay or Card only as it upsets her when you try paying from Swiggy Dineout - I learnt that the hard way. You must order for Chocolate Momos steamed as it's out of the world and if I have to visit this place again it will be definately for the Chocolate Momos and try to avoid anything with Buff as it may be hard to bite on. Overall a satisfactory place!!!

After the curly tale's video and other bloggers content went der with high expectations to try the food all the way from Kharghar and was left with disappointment.

The pricing does not justify the taste and quantity offered. Understandable its offering a AC place yo dine in, but still the pricing is not justifiable.

Either the pricing need to come down or the quantity served needs to be increased.

For eg. Chicken steam momos starts from 179,but the disappointing part is dey offer only 6 momos for 180!!!

Here we get 6 momos for 50-60rs and thats the HALF PLATE. We get 10-12 pcs for 90-100rs!! With good taste too.

So its high time the owner should make changes. increase the quantity from 6 to 10 or 12 than only the business shall flourish in long run. Or else the business will go down eventually.

This is not just me...but saw many negative reviews giving a clear hint that the people were not happy with the pricing or the quantity offered for such pricing.

M very much sure der review would have been positive or less harsh, if the menu was priced moderately or the quantity would have been offered generously, justifying the menu pricing.

Dear owner do take this review as a positive constructive criticism and seriously make changes in menu pricing or quantity offered. Coz at the end we are humans and we love to compare. If we get a similar tasting momos at less pricing we will be left unsatisfied.

And guyz, if you are Navimumbaikars, Do visit Momoz u in nerul or momos uncle near vashi station raghuleela end food court or momos aunty(Sethi hotel) near vashi station, the food court lane next to pops vadapav. They are good at best pricing. But if u want try other dishes like laping etc u can give a visit to...

My partner had won a unlimited momo meal contest hosted by The Tasting Tummy . We had 6 options to order and we decided to taste each one, since we didn't wanted to miss any.

We had: 1.) Steamed Momos (Soft steam momos which were delicious for a good start.) 2.) Crispy Momos (These were a really delicious deep fried momos and sits on top of my "must try list" as it was not at all oily.) 3.) Pan Fried Momos (Pan fried were okayish in front of the deep fried, but perfect for the ones who do not prefer deep Fried) 4.) Amchi Momos (Momos were tossed in garlic and sauce. This is a "must-must try" when you visit Dumpling Khang. It was spicy, fried but also soft.) 5.) Cheese Momos (Cheese momos had less cheese but overall it was good.) 6.) Chocolate Momos (It was the best momos we ever had. It was stuffed with gooey dark chocolate, lot of dark chocolate. Another must must try dish.)

We also had Clear Soup which was amazing as well.

Thankyou Dumpling Khang for a great...
