Global Flavours — Restaurant in Mumbai

A big thumbs up for Global Flavours restaurant located in Kandivali West. These guys really know what hopsitallity is!! I'm a food enthusiast and not many restaurants are able to please my taste buds. However Global Flavours is one such restaurant which has actually caught my attention. This place totally stands up to its name.. Their menu is vast.. You can choose from North Indian, Chinese, Kebabs,Biryanis etc.The restaurant has beautiful interiors along with comfortable sofas and elite decor all over the place. The pricing is very affordable. Also,to mention they have few offers which make the place even more budget friendly. I visited this place on a weekend and it was such a delightful experience. To begin with we started with Prawns Koliwada . I always relish the Prawns Koliwada at any restaurant.. I always get tempted to order this appetizer. And with a burst of mint chatni and onions this appetizer stands out from all other starters.. The prawns sizes were big.. the coating for the prawns was done very well .. When I dipped the prawn koliwada in the mint chutney and topped it with a small piece of onion I was reaching the 7th Heaven The next starter we called for was Kung Pao Chicken...this stir-fried Chinese dish is my all time favourite.. Chicken was very well marinated and cooked.. the veggies had the perfect combination of salty, Sweet and spicy flavours. The Chicken meat was very tender. After that we called for White Chicken Tandoori ... If you love tandoori you have to try this starter.. 4 huge juicy chicken pieces grilled to perfection.. the tandoori was just so rich in taste ...the exotic preparation was done just so perfectly.

Later as we were almost full so I called for Chicken Khao Suey .. khao suey was served in such an innovative way.. the soup was filled with chicken and exotic veggies ...the flavour of the coconut milk and the contrasting condiments came together to become the best khao suey ever.. the texture was again just so outstanding. they served vermicelli instead of noodles which I feel added more flavour to the khao suey... I enjoyed this dish from Global Flavours.

To give company to these dishes I ordered mocktails. The server was extremely helpful and suggested me good mocktails.. I had Thai basil lemonade which was so soothing... Lemonade gets a lift thanks to Thai basil, a variety of the herb that has a slightly spicy flavour.. I was so happy as on my request the server controlled the spiciness of the drink. My second mocktail was Virgin Mojito... This is a refreshing drink which is made with the combination of lemon juice, peppermint, mint leaves, sugar, salt, ice and sprite. The drink was upto the mark and made so well. The taste of the food is outstanding I tried to find flaws but couldn't succeed. All I can say is this place is total value for money and serves you the best Quality of food. Coming back to this restaurant...

Global Flavours is a hidden gem situated in Kandivali West. its quite far inside, near the Charkop area. But if you stay anywhere near Kandivali and want to have some really delicious food without burning a hole in your pocket, this is the place where you wanna be.

So its not a big place by any means but all the space that is available is utilised properly adn the ambience is almost like a well furnished home that is brightly lit with these amazing looking lights, and a few props here and there makes this a perfect place to chill with friends and family and to have delicious food.

The service is amazing as well, do ask the staff for their recommendations based on your preference and rest assured they are gonna give you the best dishes available. We had a really good time here. Coming to the food, here's what we had-

THAI BASIL LEMONADE Started the day with this mocktail which was a simple lemonade that was spiced (not literally) with basil and a significant amount of jaljeera. The result was this tangy yet sweet chilled drink that went perfectly with the food.

STRAWBERRY BANANA MARGARITA At first I was skeptical of strawberry and banana combination but the staff suggested me to give it a try. So I did and indeed it wasnt bad. It was sweet but over the top and the balance between strawberry and banana flavour was balanced none was over powering the other. Definetly can try this!

MURGH ROSALIE KEBAB Anothe staff recommendation that absolutely blows! So this takes some time to be prepared but it is totally worth the wait. It is basically fresh and tender pieces of chicken stuffed with this amazing preparation. Just loved it! Highly Recommended!

CHICKEN SHANGHAI DRY So the next starter was chicken prepared in shanghai style. The quantity and quality of this dish is really amazing. The chicken again was fresh, tender and the preparation was just amazing. It was quite filling and totally worth it!

CHICKEN HONG KONG GRAVY The main course for the day was this super delicious and perfectly spicy chicken gravy. It had a really good balance of spices and had a bit of creamy texture. Having this with Butter Garlic Naan was just a delight to the taste buds.

SIZZLING BROWNIE The best part of the day - hot walnut brownie topped with a huge scoop of vanilla icecream and drizzled with a hot chocolate sauce. A perfect end to a super...

GLOBAL FLAVOURS ♡ Today we were at this Fine Dining Restaurant at Kandivali West for dinner serving Multi Cuisine, North Indian and Chinese Food. LOCATION - It is located at Bunder Pakhadi Road and can be easily located from roadside. AMBIANCE- The Ambiance has a gorgeous classy vibrant decor with fairy lights and a Elegant dining area. Has a cozy vibe, Live slow music, super comfortable seating and pleasant environment. They have amazing song selection.

STAFF & SERVICE- The service staff is Kind and Courteous. They made sure for our perfect dining experience. Service is prompt and vibes are amazing here.

We Ordered for - BEVERAGES- 1)  Summer Cooler - Orange Juice, sweet and sour mix. Quiet refreshing and accompanied well with the food we ordered. 2) Oreo Milkshake - A creamy blend of Oreo and Milk, presented really well.

STARTERS- 3) Chicken Shanghai Dry  - Super delicious and bit spicy tender Chicken chunks stir fried in Shanghai sauce. Tastes super appetizing and is served with Schezwan chutney. Definitely a perfect dish to begin the meal with! 4) Paneer Gulzari - Another must try on the menu. Paneer is super soft, cooked to perfection and served with salad and mint chutney.

MAIN COURSE- 5) Paneer Butter Masala with Butter Roti - Paneer traditionally prepared in Indian Spices and gravy served with soft butter roti and condiments resulting in burst of flavours in mouth. Its worth trying. Quantity is enough for 2. 6) Veg. Volcano Rice - Stir fried Exotic veggies and rice cooked perfectly and served with gravy in the middle of the dish surrounded by rice giving it a Volcano like look. Altogether it is super fullfilling and tastes really good. DESSERT- 7) Caramel Popcorn Icecream - Tried this flavour for the very first time and it turned out to be delectably delicious. Topped with caramel popcorn on top. It's a unique and must try dessert.

In all it was a wonderful experience. I would suggest one to visit here at least once for amazing Lipsmacking food and Fine dining experience. Its a place worth visiting with family, friends and even colleagues and loved once! Highly recommended for Chinese lovers.They followed all the safety protocols wherever required. Would definitely recommend this...
