Golden Dragon Chinese Point — Restaurant in Mumbai

Recently visited this place for dinner. The ambience is good and vibrant, but the seating capacity is quite limited (around 15 people max).

We ordered: 🍲 Mix Royal Chicken Soup – delicious and flavorful. 🌶️ Burnt Chicken Chilly – spicy but tasty. 🍛 Chef Special Chopper Rice – interesting presentation with gravy on both sides and rice in the middle (quantity can easily serve 3 people). Taste was okayish and slightly on the sweeter side.

What I appreciated: ✅ They don’t use Ajinomoto in their food. ✅ Portion sizes are generous (sufficient for 2 people).

Where it fell short: ❌ Service was very poor – we had to wait 10–15 mins just to place the order. ❌ The food took almost 1 hour to arrive, while Zomato/Swiggy delivery orders were being prioritized. ❌ When we tried cancelling the last rice order, the staff insisted on serving it, and it came out undercooked (chicken, omelette, etc.).

Overall, the food itself is decent, but the service and waiting time really spoiled the experience. If you’re willing to wait, you might enjoy it—but otherwise, I’d suggest exploring...

I recently visited this restaurant in Goregaon West, which offers a mix of Chinese, Sichuan, Seafood, Asian, and Thai cuisines. The experience was delightful, with a diverse menu and well-executed flavors.

We started with the Chicken Peking Soup, which had a rich, aromatic broth packed with flavors. The Crackling Chicken was crispy, well-seasoned, and addictive. The Chicken Ekaturi and Coriander Chicken stood out with their bold spices and perfectly cooked meat.

For the main course, the Chicken Mushroom Pot Rice was a highlight comforting, flavorful, and loaded with tender chicken and mushrooms.

To end on a sweet note, we had Caramel Pudding and Chocolate Mousse, both were smooth, decadent, and perfectly balanced in sweetness.

I recently had a disappointing experience at a restaurant named Golden Dragon hotel in Goregaon West delight that left me with a sour taste. The service was incredibly slow, with wait staff seeming disinterested and inattentive. It took an eternity for our orders to arrive, and when they finally did, the food was underwhelming. The dishes lacked flavor and were poorly cooked. The presentation was sloppy, and it was evident that little effort was put into the preparation. Kitchen is very much Unhygienic .While eating food we had seen 2 cockroach 🪳 on our tables. Same time we had informed Waiter to replace food. But Waiter deny to replace it with Fresh food.Overall, it was a regrettable dining experience that I wouldn't recommend to anyone or family . Very worst hotel I had seen....
