This grandmama has alzheimers and cataract (no offence intended to people who suffer these conditions, just driving home a point) HORRIBLE SERVICE, PATHETIC FOOD. God knows how people eat here. Ordered kids fries: super soggy and yet over fried. Almost brown in color Veg roll: ever eaten an ice cold bread with super ice cold stuffing, in which peas were not cooked. I mean, they had ice cold peas. Almost as if someone made the veg roll and kept it in fridge, just in case someone orders it. There was a strong smell and taste to the mayo in the roll. Oh, and when we requested that cabbage be replaced by lettuce, we were presented with names of different lettuce and informed we will be charged extra. I mean, informed thoroughly. Atleast 4 times in our 2 mins time with our server while he was taking the order. As if we can't afford it. Anyways, when the roll arrived at table and before we could touch it, we requested our server to kindly cut it into two. These guys dont know how to use knife and fork. BTW explanation for cold stuffing: mayo based, so cant be heated. Explanation for freezing cold bread: none. We were offered it for free as a compensation for bad food. Yup. The veg roll was offerred complimentary to us. Great service isn't it. Garlic bread: atleast that's what we ordered. The chef was in different mood I guess, or as informed to us later, he was not there (more about this later). Someone created a brand new dish: garlic toast. Bread so freaking over baked, it could be crushed to a fine powder. Miracles do happen.
We demanded to see the chef, and it was here that we realised what was happening.
Never visit after 10.30 or so. The chef apparently has left by then. We walked in at 11.45 pm, and our server greeted us with "this will be the last order, kitchen is shutting down so order everything you need at once". No hello, no good evening. Just straight to the point. Last order, place it now or go hungry.
When this messed up food came and we demanded to see the chef, we were informed the chef isn't available as he had left. The table besides us were placing their "last order" and we were left wondering who is cooking the meals then.
The table across us apparently had a reservation through a food app. The customer was asking why the cafe had added service charge without informing, to which manager replied: "since we have a tie up with the app, this is how you will get the bill. I will remove the service charges if you pay by cash or card directly." So this customer had to decide between getting a discount and paying a service charge OR not getting a discount and not paying service charge. Eventually these folks left the table, frustrated at the lose lose situation presented by manager.
My review: stay safe. Eat at a local Thela. They are more value for money, do that instead of spending your hard earned money on low quality, low quantity food at these outlets. And yes, save yourself from unnecessary taxes...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place is overhyped & overpriced . No hospitality , no customer service . Feedbackās are not taken in a positive manner . It is opposite to R galleria & one of the classy area where only cream crowd will be founded . I felt overpriced because the taste was not at all up to the mark . The food here tasted so bland & tasteless. If ratings to be given to this outlet or branch it will be 1/5 .
We ordered - Grand Mama Special Pizza This Pizza was a total waste of money . No toppings , no cheese & no flavour .It was not like a pizza but more like a Khakra topped with unwanted things .
Penne Arrabiata Pasta PASTA was undercooked & very very tangy in taste as if just cooked in tomato puree . So we called the waiter & told them please cook it properly & then serve us . In return he gave us a 5 min lecture that Pasta here is cooked in this manner itself & we canāt cook or change anything about the dish. We literally paid for it but did not had it as it was raw & uncooked . So we didnāt even parcel it to give anybody . So money & food both got wasted .
Cheese Garlic Bread Again this was a normal garlic bread & to put cheese on it they charged us extra 90/- I donāt know on what basis they were charging us money but seriously made a decision of never ever visiting this area outlet.
FELT BAD AS I WASTED MY MONEY , TIME & TASTE BUDS GOT RUINED TO...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis place had great interiors, aesthetic, perfect vibes of colourful yet balanced art work on walls & seating was beautiful floral, comfortable chairs
We were 3 of us & visited them for dinner, spent about 2300/- for about 5 items in our order and 1 drink
Quantity of āevery food itemā was little of what Iāve ever had in Indian or vegetarian cafe or a restaurant.
Coming to food & pricing & service & food options Food taste :- ⢠5/5 for sloppy bbq cottage cheese burger ⢠5/5 for green Thai curry ⢠5/5 for Butter garlic garden momoās ⢠2/5 for spaghetti agli-o-lio ⢠3/5 for Country Lemonade ⢠1/5 for the potatoe wedges with came with Burgers : both the time
Pricing :- average but considering the quantity served, pricing should go little lower or the cafe should work upon the quantity served.
Service was 5/5
They donāt serve mock-tails at all, for people who arenāt alcoholic. If someone is visiting for lunch / dinner, how can someone not have a variety in drinks. Just about 2-5 options of beverages to go with meals / food, for non-alcoholic
Their alcoholic menu option was quite good compared to what a cafe should be serving, though next time maybe if I would ever visit this cafe would be for tea / coffee / hot...
