Don't write negative Reviews they will call and shout at u !!! Worst Services ever!!! I'm a regular customer of Guru Dhaba since a long time and for one of my orders I had requested for onions with my Zomato order! The lady at the restaurant was rude and refused to give onion but later agreed! Even after agreeing she didn't send the onions with the food! So kanjoos! I order often and am a regular customer! I didn't expect them to be so rude and ill mannered ! No manners to talk! No respect for customers! They even stopped taking my calls when I recieved the food! Such a bad attitude! The food is average at best and we like simple food so we order from them! They have very bad attitude towards customers as if by sending food they r doing a favour on us! Very disappointed? After I wrote a negative review on Zomato that lady called me on my personal number and started screaming .. She call me and get angry when it was her mistake !!! This shows the bad attitude they have ! Instead of apologising she is saying that they will never send onions as if I'm dying for her onions and the food ! She isn't doing favour by sending food ! I'm a customer and paying for the food ! And I will complain to Zomato for her calling me after writing negative...
Read moreA True Punjabi Food Experience After Ages!
Visited Guru Da Dhaba after a long time with two of my close friends, and what a delightful experience it turned out to be! The moment we stepped in, the comforting AC and the homely aroma of spices set the perfect mood.
We ordered a bunch of dishes and each one was like a trip back to maa ke haath ka khana! The rajma was absolute soul food — rich, perfectly spiced, and heartwarming. The baingan bharta was smoky and flavorful, a total must-have. The black chana dal had that home-cooked feel, full of depth and comfort. The missi roti was crisp on the edges and soft inside, and paired beautifully with everything on the plate.
Special mention to the karele masala — while it was okay compared to the stars of the meal, it still added variety to the thali. And yes, the fresh fulkhe (chapatis) were soft, puffed, and served hot – just like how you'd get in a Punjabi home.
The best part? Everything came hot and fresh, and the total bill for all of this heartful indulgence was just ₹1250 – completely worth it for the quality and portions.
Highly recommend this place if you're craving authentic home-style Punjabi food. Will definitely not wait this long to...
Read moreI am not sure if this is the one I used to eat regularly way back in 1999,it used to be run by a short Sardar with combative attitude,he used to be a one man army buying vegetables himself, sometimes cutting them, most times making dishes himself. He brooks no dissent,if he doesn't like a customer,he will tell them not to come back.Whatever dishes he starts with, will start reducing as they empty, will be rubbed off menu list. His entire family wife/son/daughter many times eat there with us patrons.I used to go there almost everyday, not just for the food which was outstanding but also the way he interacts with customers.Once a drunk policeman came demanding food,he sent him away with few choice words. He was a living legend to me.We don't make men like that any more.If this is same place, some of the reviews indicate that, please say hello to him on my behalf and tell him a kindred soul wishes him all...
