A good place to visit for Birding. Alot of migratory birds and resident birds are easily spotted at this location. You can check on Ebird for the Checklist of birds found in this location. Needs a bit of cleaning and awareness as people dump their religious waste...

Beautification of the lake was going on to clear waste and to maintain properly. Encroachment was a problem.. Having bio diversity of nearly 140 species including migratory species has great importance of balancing...

Its not much of a lake now, and has become smaller. Seems there is no concerned authority maintaining it. A power company has taken up most of its surrounding areas.

Lot of ducks, coots,moorhens, Kingfishers and many more birds can be seen at this lake but the surrounding is very dirty ...should be cleaned up by the authorities.
