House of Nomad — Restaurant in Mumbai

Bandra now has a new fabulous gastropub named House of Nomad..Its located at TAJ LANDS END BANDRA on LEVEL 1..The menu focuses on variety of cocktails,shots from all around the world crafted by Mr Andrew(renowned mixologist) and mocktails for teetotalers along with small plates..The ambience is vibrant ,has nice comfortable high chair sitting with good music playing along .Stout reductions are made in-house. Hospitality and service of staff is exceptional and precise.

BAR MENU

Chanel no 6 - Signature drink of House of Nomad.Laced with vodka,lychee,coconut and very eye catchy edible molecular lipstick..Must try. Extremely original and Creative drink.

Bramble Sour-In house made berry fusion ,fresh lemon served with cracked ice. The main reason for serving with blocks of ice is to ensure the drink doesnt dilute.

Nomad elaichi - A soothing mocktail with cardamom,nutty flavours with lime juice.I personally loved it

Pura vida- A sweet and sour mocktail with cucumber basil taste.

Mediterranean breeze- A classy mocktail with mixture of grapes,apples and lavendar foam.Highly recommended

Soma Ambriosa-Coconut water ,lychee ,chocolate base drink.

FOOD MENU

-Truffle arugula and Parmesan Flat Bread - This is signature dish for me .Like a flat bread pizza .Flavour-aroma of Truffle desribes the class of this dish for me.

Stuff zucchini cheese-Fries dusted with parmesan.. Simply fabulous

-Spanakopita(spinach & goat cheese phyllo)- Spinach flavour spanakopita served with sour cream and goat cheese stuffing .So yummy and extremely crisp.

-Jalapeño and Cheese Popcorn- Fresh popped popcorns tossed with melted butter .

-Peri Peri Pop Corn -Spicy flavoured popcorn..An addictive snack.

-Harissa Paneer Skewers - Marinated paneer kababs served on wooden base.Best part was that it wasnt burnt even a wee bit.A nice option for BBQ lovers

-Paneer Sheermal Roll -Paneer served in sheermal(a sweetened bread) .Its a Awadhi speciality ,saffron in colour.

-Veg Slider - 3 mini burgers with roasted vegetables, rajma,onions,soya granules,onion powder stuffings ..Well made and were served with crisp potato wedges.

-Burrata -served with virgin olive oil,basil and croutons ..Mind blowing appetizer .Highly recommended

Onion rings - A small batch of onion ringd prepared in hot oil and deep fried until crisp..Well made .

Desserts

-Runny Chocolate pudding with Bourbon ice cream -Baked chocolate pudding served with bourbon icecream.Sinfully delicious.

-Mini Donuts- Donuts filled with vanilla custard and served with chocolate dipping sauce

I personally loved the runny chocolate pudding with Bourbon icecream the most.Saved best for the last.

Overall a great place to catch up with friends,special ones.Great combination of heavenly drinks,food,music and good service.All in one package sums it all..

Copying my Zomato Review : Simply awesome. Visited on a Saturday night, and it's the best gastro pub I have visited so far. Fantastic decor and so is the music. Loved the way the volume of the music increased and the lights dimmed by the time. Though it's not a proper night club, but post 12 night the music made us to dance.

The cocktails we tried were very good. We tried Channel No. 6, Espress Yourself and The Final Say. The best one was Channel No. 6. Foods were OK, though didn't try much food items.

This is hot venue, great sound system with a DJ playing lots of Retro on Friday and Saturday nights on weekends its all low key until about 1am then suddenly the bar is packed to the rafters but Its a small venue so you wont wait to long to get to the bar. this is one bar that has staff everywhere 4 bartenders covering all sides of the Bar except for the Sushi counter, which closes when the bar gets busy. The bar has a good array of food options about 20 cocktails on the menu. During the week it is laid back with enough staff that if you want to have a chat there are plenty of staff to take care of you, the Nomad team is a friendly bunch.
