Khaas Parathas — Restaurant in Mumbai

Parathas and their delightful aroma is so so inviting and can lead to eating more than keeping count! You must indeed Try them at this Paratha junction. • I am blessed to experience well natured staff in most of the places I visit, one of which was this. They presented me with their best without any extra delay. • Its a simple basic eating house which is easily traceable. Yellow lighting’s and open fast food kitchen gives it a different look. Very reasonable rates and this always has a customer enjoying their meals. • To my surprise,They not only provide parathas but various dishes. I was served with:

Starters- Cheese 🧀 Corn 🌽 sticks: Frozen, crispy corn sticks, full of cheese will never upset you of course! Fried and Served with Sauce to add up the tangy taste.

Chilly Jalepano Peppers: Deep fried Round frozen jalepano peppers with huge amount of cheese within. Served along green chutney tasted cheesy and I genuinely wanted more.

Paneer Patty: Cottage cheese (Paneer) cut into slices and covered with crispy coating and fried well. Garnished with cheese and thus the patty was soft and full of taste.

Hara Bhara Kebab: Between all the fried, here was a super healthy kebab filled with green vegetables mashed and deep fried! Brown from the outside and green within. A must try I’d say.

Drinks- Sudha Ras: Green drink served in a bulb jar and mixed black and white salt to add the taste. Much like a lime juice soda.

Rose 🌹 Sharbat: Rose syrup mixed with soda and ‘Sabja’, a super cool drink with up notch presentation.

Kalakhatta Sharbat: A simple kalakhatta drink fit to quench the summer thirst.

Chocolate 🍫 Milkshake: Chocolate milkshake never dissatisfies anyone. A perfect blend of the chocolate syrup and milk. Thick enough to fit my requirement.

Parathas- Paneer and Spring onion Paratha: Super soft Paratha with fillings of both Paneer and spring onions.

Cheese Paratha: I like cheese. I like paratha. Why won’t I like cheese paratha? Melted cheese in a paratha was mouthwatering and it didn’t last long on the table.

Aloo Paratha: Huge and tender paratha with perfect taste of mashed potatoes 🥔 mixed with all the masalas. I could taste every bit without any complaint.

I was in Dahisar for some work and hadn't had my lunch. Found this place while browsing through Zomato for food. I reached it via Google Maps and the location is perfect.

A small restaurant with around 6 to 8 tables, Khaas Parathas and more have been serving the customers since 3years.

The owner Mr. Mahesh is a good guy, who you can indulge in a conversation with, and will be happy to suggest you dishes to try.

To start with, I ordered a refreshing Watermelon Juice. Fresh juice, absolutely perfect.

They are known for parathas and I love Aloo Paratha so ordered that. Mr. Mahesh suggested I also try the Gavthi Paratha and I got that too.

Aloo Paratha :

Aloo Paratha is my favorite on the whole wide world. If there is nothing else of my choice and you give me aloo paratha, I'll be contented.

The aloo paratha here is just amazing. The paratha had ample of potato stuffing inside, it was not filled with spices, had a very mild and nice taste. Some parts of the paratha were crispy which made it even more yumm. The dough was not at all chewy. It was fresh even after it cooled down. They serve their parathas with Chole, Dal Makhani and Raita which go awesomely well with the parathas.

Gavthi Paratha :

This one had Potatoes, Spring Onion, Garlic, Ginger and Carrots. Again a mild mixture, not overpowering at all. Loved the crispiness of the parathas.

Masala Pav Sandwich :

Sandwich and pav bhaji, both my favorite food items, in one dish. This has veggies like cucumber, potato, tomato and onion inside a buttered pav. It is then put on tawa and then the bhaji is put over this. Absolutely loved this. It was so so yummy.

Pav Bhaji :

A classic dish, buttery pav with buttery pav bhaji. Delicious and mouth watering.

We were very full at the end of this and missed out on trying the Falooda. Next time i am in the area, I'm surely gona visit again and ask my family and friends to visit too.

🔷 As the name tells you that this place is known for the parathas and not any ordinary parathas, just look at the menu of this restaurant you will find a big category of parathas with very various types which you might have heard for the first time.

🔲 Lets talk about the ambience. There is nothing very unique about that. Its just a Common or ordinary type restaurant. You won't find much of good ambience.

🥞 Now lets begin with the Food and beverages section, as i said the ambience was not so good but the food was super great. The parathas were like never had in my whole life. Super Awesome 😋

Things we had :

🍷 ANARKALI It was basically a Mojito type drink with Pomogranate syrup and added soda fizz.

🥂 VIRGIN PINACOLADA It was a mixture of Pineapple, Vanilla ice cream and hint of Coconut Juice .

🧀 CHEESE CORN STICKS Long sticks filled with lots of cheese and finely chopped Corns.

🥗 HARA BHARA KABAB Tikki's made of aloo and presented with the toppings of cheese

🥘 ONION UTHAPAM Personally this was my favourite. Finely chopped onions with spring greens and served with coconut Chutney and sambar

🍞 PAV BHAJI DOSA The dosa filled with the bhaaji and spreaded all over the dosa and served chutney and sambar.

❇️✅ PARATHA BASKET ( Highly Recommended ) This parathas are the speciality of this restaurant. They serve it with Vegetable raita, Chole and Pickle. We had 4 baby parathas namely Aloo paratha, Cheese paratha, Pudina paratha and Paneer bhurji Paratha also served with Black dal.

🥛 ROYAL FALOODA Rose milkshake filled with vanilla icecream, subza with rose syrup and added dry fruits

🍧 KULFI FALOODA This was basically kulfi served with falooda at top and was cut into pieces and had a butterscotch syrup

🍫 DAIRY MILKSHAKE Thick shake with ample amount of daily milk crushed in it and added chocolate syrup. Too much yummm❤
