Authentic Rajasthani-Gujarati Thali Experience at Its Best! If you’re looking for the true essence of Indian hospitality and flavors, Khandani Rajdhani in Andheri Lokhandwala is the place to be. The moment you step in, you are welcomed with a warm “Padharo Sa” – a small gesture that instantly sets the tone for a wholesome dining experience. 🍽️ The Thali Experience The thali here is a royal spread – an unlimited assortment of dishes, ensuring you never have the same experience twice. The staff moves around swiftly, serving every guest with a smile, making sure not a single bowl is left empty. Starters : From Dal Baato Churma, Khandavi, Kebab and dahi vadas, the starters were light yet packed with flavor. Vegetable Curries: Rich, homely and authentic, with a balance of both sweet curries and delicious sabzis. The gatte ki sabzi, paneer ki sabzi and bhindi ki sabzi were absolute highlights. Dal, Kadhi & Rotis: The Gujarati dal was sweet and comforting while the Rajasthani dal had a nice spicy kick. The kadhi was tangy, pairing perfectly with hot phulkas, bajra rotis, and puris. Rice & Khichdi: Their khichdi with ghee is was not that good. Sweets: No thali is complete without desserts, and Rajdhani doesn’t disappoint. From triflavpir barfi, jalebi with rabri, rasgula every sweet dish felt like the perfect ending to a festive meal. 🌟 Service & Ambience The service deserves a special mention – the servers are quick, attentive, and always ready to offer refills before you even ask. The ambience is simple yet welcoming, designed to give you a comfortable dining vibe rather than a fine-dine feel. 💰 Value for Money Considering the unlimited spread and variety, the pricing feels justified. You’re not just paying for food, but for the whole royal thali experience.

✅ Must-try: Gatte ki sabzi, dal-baati-churma (if available that day), and jalebi-rabri. 👨‍👩‍👧 Perfect for family gatherings, festive meals, or anyone craving authentic Rajasthani-Gujarati food. Final Verdict: Khandani Rajdhani stays true to its name – it really is a royal feast. If you love thalis or want to explore the depth of Rajasthani & Gujarati cuisine, this place...

Rajdhani is less a restaurant and more a cultural experience, and the Andheri West outlet delivers this feeling of traditional hospitality perfectly. From the moment we were greeted with a warm welcome, we knew we were in for a royal treat.

The sheer variety on the traditional brass thali is overwhelming in the best way. They truly honor their rotating menu concept. The service is the highlight—the servers are incredibly warm, attentive, and follow the traditional style of constantly checking and refilling bowls until you literally beg them to stop! You feel genuinely pampered throughout the meal.

This thali perfectly marries the two great western cuisines. You get the iconic Rajasthani heat and richness alongside the comforting, subtly sweet and tangy Gujarati flavors.

The Dal Baati Churma was outstanding, served piping hot and drenched generously in ghee (a must!). The Gujarati side was represented beautifully by the Sweet and Tangy Gujarati Dal and the light, soothing Kadhi (visible in my katoris!).

We had excellent Dhokla (spongy and soft) and a small fried savory item (like a mini-kachori) as farsan. The selection of rotis was fantastic, including phulkas and a darker, heartier rotla (perhaps bajra).

We enjoyed a diverse array of vegetable curries, including a spicy Rajasthani-style sabzi and a rich legume preparation (like chhole). The corn pulao provided a fresh contrast.

The sweets sealed the deal! The creamy Shrikhand/Basundi was divine, and we also got a delicious, melt-in-the-mouth Halwa. My favorite was the beautiful, dry-fruit garnished sweet circle (looks like a mini-malpua or ghewar) that was the perfect end to the feast.

If you're looking for an authentic, wholesome, pure-vegetarian Indian meal that offers endless variety and leaves you completely satisfied, Rajdhani is the place. It's perfect for a family outing, a festive lunch, or when you just crave the taste of home. Highly, highly recommended. A true...

Visited Rajdhani, Andheri West yesterday and it turned out to be one of the most satisfying traditional thali experiences I have had in a while. Rajdhani is known for its authentic Gujarati and Marwari thali and this visit reminded me why it is a timeless favorite. The Dal Baati Churma was simply exceptional. The baati had that perfect golden crust, the dal was rich and flavorful, and the churma balanced it beautifully with its subtle sweetness. The Rajma Udad also stood out. It was creamy, wholesome, and perfectly spiced. I went for seconds without hesitation. From the farsan, the Patra was soft, tangy, and well steamed, while the Gold Coins were delightfully crisp and made for a fun start to the meal. The Vilayati Kadhai Subz Paneer had tender paneer cubes in a mildly spiced gravy, and the Aloo Palak was rich and comforting. I also loved the Spring Onion Kadhi, which had a light tangy flavor and paired wonderfully with the Jowar Rotla. The desserts were the grand finale. The Shrikhand was smooth and aromatic, the Badam Halwa had that melt in the mouth texture, and the Jalebi Rabdi was pure indulgence. The interiors are luxurious and regal, with a warm golden touch that gives you a royal dining feel. The staff was courteous, quick, and made sure the thali kept flowing. It truly felt like a festival on a plate. Rajdhani is the perfect place if you want to experience the grandeur of traditional Indian food with fine dining comfort. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic flavors served with heart.
