I recently dined at Cafe Metro at Marine Lines, and I must say it was a disappointing experience. We ordered Chicken Chilly, Butter Chicken, and Roti, but there were several issues with our meal.
Firstly, we ordered Chicken Chilly assuming it was boneless, but to our surprise, there were bones in it. When we inquired, the staff assured us it was boneless, which was misleading.
The Butter Chicken was a letdown in terms of taste. It lacked the rich and flavorful taste that we expected from this dish.
To make matters worse, the Roti was served at the beginning of the meal, well before our main courses arrived. By the time our main dishes were served, the Roti had become hard and unappetizing.
Furthermore, the staff seemed clueless about the dishes they were serving, and there was a noticeable lack of proper management. Overall, our experience at Cafe Metro was unsatisfactory, and I would not recommend dining there.
Ambiance at this place was really worst. Being one of the known restaurants in Mumbai they should maintain...
Read moreMy friend was starving (not exactly starving, but craving for Chicken I should say rather😜) and we ended up here at Cafe Metro by chance. We walked in, not sure what to order and asked the staff about their speciality. They suggested to go with BANJARA KEBAB!
Before I could say anything, my भुक्कड (foodie) friend finalized the order and nothing I could do but stare at my friend with zero expression. And boy, I am glad that the order turned out to be great! The Kebab was insane! Soft, juicy and full of flavor. The mint chutney added more savour to the meal. It was like a party in my mouth!
I love when accidents turn into amazing experiences and Cafe Metro is one such! Friendly staff, cozy vibe; overall a great experience..✌️😍

Read moreLocated near the iconic Metro Cinema in Marine Lines, we decided to try this place out before catching an early morning movie. The seating is comfortable and the service was very quick. Staff is decent as well. The regular South Indian breakfast items are not present in their menu hence we had to go with an Egg Bhurji. This is definitely not a place for Vegetarians as veg food options are next to none here. But, at the same time it seems like a Non Vegetarians delight. The number of options to pick from their menu for any Non Veg food lover is really mind blowing. If that is not enough, they have specials put up which seemed very intriguing..😋 Egg Bhurji was the right amount of spicy and had loads of flavour. The pav that came along with it was very soft. All in all our early morning food cravings were...
