Had ordered Manchurian dry starter. They gave us the dish by just microwaving it without even taking the effort of making it hot on a pan. Microwave heat and pan heat can be easily identified as if the food is heated in microwave it heats up too much from the inner side n outer side is not that hot when we ate the Manchurian balls we felt the same. And due to it the Manchurian balls weren't left crispy they had bcm gummy and sticky which we have to pull n eat like a chewing gum. Clearly sates the use of microwave. We told to the manager he completely denied to this thing that the food was just made hot in a microwave and served to us in plates. N waiters are in too much hurry to send their customers out of the hotel despite of all the tables being empty. Hurry to take order serve food. Before we finish asking for what else we want to order n always being around u with extra hurry and care to send us out. They feel customers dont know anything regarding food. Bt this was basics of food that microwave has a very different style of heating as...
Read moreTo, Satish shetty Owner of Central peninsula restaurant, I and my family visited your restaurant today and I had the most worst experience. As we ordered our food, your staff said that " Jaldi order do khane ka.. kitchen band ho raha hai we visited around 3pm. This was the most pathetic treatment which I observed today. Customer is god to the people who do business. I haven't received any response like this from any of the restaurant in Mumbai. So Mr. Satish please guide your staff and teach them etiquettes of speaking to customers.
Your restaurant is not at any monopoly business. There are many other restaurants in competitions. Customer are paying for food and good treatment keep in mind. We are having other options too.
Think twice. Hope you will look into your staff's behavior. The most of the bengali staffs you have kept are totally indiscipline and rude. Your manager is also not at all bothered. Kindly take strict action if you want to run this hotel and restaurant business.
Thanks and...
Read moreI recently visited Central Peninsula and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. The chilli paneer dry and aloo jeera were both delicious and had the perfect level of spice. The medu vada and dahi vada were also excellent and the perfect start to our meal.
The main course was just as good, with the Mysore masala cheese dosa and mushroom pizza being particular highlights. The cheese pav bhaji and chole bhatura were also delicious and the cheese kulcha was a great addition to the meal.
The service at Central Peninsula was also very good, with the staff being friendly and attentive throughout our visit. The ambience of the restaurant was okay, although it was a bit crowded and noisy.
Overall, I had a great experience at Central Peninsula and would definitely recommend it to others. The food was excellent and the service was good, making it a great choice for a casual meal. The malai kulfi was also a great way to finish...
