The Riwa Fort, locally known as Kala Qilla or Black Fort, is a fort in central Mumbai, India on the banks of the Mithi River. The fort is currently in a dilapidated condition amidst the Dharavi slums. It was built by the Mughal governor of Bombay, Yakut Khan.

The fort or in short the watch tower is really in Ruins, there is literally nothing viewable when entering it, the only access bring a ladder and a small water holding cistern filled with Garbage. Do wish the ASI does something to preserve it since History is always something to remember what Mumbai or Bombay was and what it is...

There is no proper way to get here. It's in total ruins. This is the way we preserve the history of this great city. Across the road, the Sion fort has been well kept, and this fort which is supposed to be an extention of the Sion fort is completely unkempt just like the dharavi fort...
