The place is located near the sion circle. There are 3 Peninsula out there. 1 is in the Sion Circle which is a veg restaurant. The other 2 (1 veg and other non veg) are located in a lane inside just diagonally opposite the PVR Cinemas.
We had gone to the non-veg Peninsula (Obviously!) me being a pure non-vegetarian.
They also provide North Indian, Chinese and mughlai cusine. Both Indian as well as Chinese and other cuisines are very nice and the spread is also satisfactory. Foodie no doubt excellent and they have large portions so order accordingly. As a family friendly place, kudos to Peninsula for maintaining an amazing standard in food and service. It is a very welcoming place and the stewards are extremely attentive to your needs. Soothing ambiance, very attentive and helpful service and a very good range of cuisine at reasonable prices makes this restaurant a very attractive place.
Ambiance - It's is fantastic. Has marble stone interiors. seating is provided by a large group also Though looks a bit congested and over done. However, this does give it classic polished feel. The seating is fixed quadrants and large a group cannot be seated unless split in smaller groups. The service is fast and quick. The staff is really good and supportive.
Specialy I like the fresh squeezed orange juice with vokda ( That's Screw driver) is best. It’s less sweet and tastes better than other juice 🍊really cold & chilled juice

Read moreDear Team,
On 13th Feb 2020, me & my husband visited Peninsula Restaurant (Non-Veg) Sion 400022 to celebrate our 1st Anniversary. The ambiance was good, waiter's was also supportive. 1st in starter's we had Chicken Pahadi Kabab and that was really well cooked-tasty dish. For main course we ordered Chicken Dum Biryani. The taste of rice of biryani was as usual good but, chicken of biryani tasted something different for some time i doubt whether the chicken was fresh or not or its was really a chicken ??? because i never ever tasted this kind of chicken in any of the restaurants in mumbai. Very much unhappy with that Chi.Biryani. Definitely we informed same to waiter he replaced the biryani with prawns biryani as we requested. The prawns biryani also came. But as I had 1 spoon i realized that the prawns was not cooked properly. The prawn was not at all soft it was little hard (in marathi i can say charcharit laagat hota). As i am a Malwani Girl i know the better tasted of Fish.
At last again replacing the food i asked waiter to parcel that prawns biryani.
literally we were unsatisfied with the Peninsula & i was too hungry so after coming home i cooked prawns biryani little bit & had again 🤕
At the end of the matter PENINSULA FAILED TO SATISFIED US. Sorry to say but This unsatisfactory of taste is not acceptable from The Peninsula.
after all I failed in my plan which was a surprise...
Read moreThe ambiance can be summed up as elegant and vintage. There is Indian, Chinese, Thai, Mexican, Continental - a complete army of deliciousness to choose from.
We started with Cream of Tomato soup which was appropriately sweet and bit tangy and full of delicious tomato wholesomeness.
Starters and Appetizers here are actually filling enough for light eaters. Portions are so very generous for everything! We had Spinach Paneer and Chilli Paneer along with Hash Corn Vegetables. Both Paneer dishes were fantastic with melt-in-the-mouth Paneer. Hash Corn Vegetables is an inventive dish which I suspect a lot of people with traditional tastebuds will not like. It could be called an updated Mexican chat.
Also tried Kabuli Naan and a Paneer gravy dish to go with it. Having seen some world movies, I know that in places like Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, they do prepare tandoori breads with loads of dry fruits for special occasions. Kabuli Naan is an ode to that. Stuffed with cherries, shredded paneer and little bits of pineapple plus generously topped with butter, it is obviously sweet and what a...
