I recently had the pleasure of dining at Masta Gajali, a newly opened Malwani restaurant in Lalbaug, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! With so many options in the area, I was eager to try something new, and Masta Gajali did not disappoint.

We ordered the Prawns Thali, Chicken Vade, Surmai Fry, and Sol Kadhi. Each dish was a delightful exploration of flavors, capturing the essence of authentic Kokan cuisine. The Prawns Thali was particularly impressive, showcasing fresh, perfectly cooked prawns paired with a delicious array of sides.

The taste of the food felt like a trip straight to the Kokan coast, thanks to the expert use of spices and traditional cooking techniques. Despite being a new restaurant, Masta Gajali has truly found its footing, and I can confidently say this is a gem worth visiting.

Mastagajalee offers an authentic Maharashtrian culinary experience with a delightful variety of dishes. The prawns fry is perfectly crispy and well-marinated, served with a flavorful green chutney that enhances the taste. The surmai is cooked to perfection, with a crispy outer layer and a juicy, flavorful inside. The wada, soft and golden, is an excellent accompaniment to their amazing chicken masala, which is rich, spicy, and full of authentic flavors.
