We are residents of Thakur Complex, and we visited this restaurant just before coming home from a long trip. This was our 2nd visit to the restaurant after a very long time.
Starting from car parking, had to struggle for atleast 10 mins outside to find one, my wife had to go into the restaurant to get someone to help, but he also struggled for a bit, but we finally managed to get the parking.
We went inside the AC section, the seating was nice, Ac was good. I had to use the washroom (long trip), I asked someone and someone directed me to the back of restaurant and that too from outside the restaurant. I saw few employees on the back cutting vegetables, I asked them for directions and they told me the one with blue painted steel doors. There were 2 doors, one was locked. As I went inside, it was not clean enough but okayish washroom with a small basin but no soap.
When I was coming back to the restaurant, there was a washbasin at the very end of restaurant, I tried to use it but it's handle just came off in my hand. Chalo fine, but again there was no hand soap again.
It's not like they give you sanitised napkins but atleast you could provide the hand soap
The food was good, felt healthy, but too pricey according the facilities provided by the restaurant.
There are other good restaurants in Thakur Complex itself with equally good ambience, food and facilities, and economical as well, if compared to...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreSo I recently visited Miraās Shiv Sagar in Kandivali. I heard they were very famous for their pav bhaji so i tried their special Pav Bhaji and i was not disappointed. Firstly the portion given was really good and secondly the taste of it was equally good. Easily in top 10 places in mumbai to have pav bhaji. Next was their Jini Dosa the taste was it was really good no need of sambhar or chutney which is provided with it. Just eat it like this only. This is something you can try and will not be disappointed. Than the massive thing which i had was their Deluxe thali. The quantity was so much that it would be easily enough for 2 people although the thali was limited but could ask extra for additional price every of the week the sabzi and rice and all chances so it doesnāt became monotonous. Next was crispy threatened paneer which you will not get anywhere in Mumbai. The whole paneer inside is covered in this crispy thread and than deep fried so taht timepass you eat na wesa feel aaiga. This is a unique starter available only here in mumbai. Their Special falooda has a good kesar ka taste and filled with dry fruits and icecream this itself would be enough for 2 people. Lastly is imly ka boota something very different its a mojito of imly ginger and some things which you will not find...
