MOJO Pizza - 2X Toppings — Restaurant in Mumbai

I came across MOJO Pizza online and thought to give this delivery pizza a try. My experience with my first order has just made me yearn for some better pizza.

Firstly, there is a 30% off going on for those who order for the first time. This was confusing because the condition was the order value has to be above Rs. 299 but there are discounts on every item despite the cart value. It took me a while to understand the discount offer.

We first went for a Half and Half Pizza, with one side being Margarita pizza and the other half being Awesome Threesome. The toppings were good and so was the quantity of cheese. However, the pizza base was just plain bad. A thin crust is usually crispy but this pizza base kept crumbling with each bite. The base is the most important part of a pizza and no pizza place should ever mess that up. We ordered a side of Cheese Garlic Bread. The bread was very good and we could actually taste the garlic even after a lot of cheese. For dessert, we went for the Choco Lava Cake. The cake itself was smushed, which is strange because the outer packaging wasn't. The cake was pretty standard.

One thing that MOJO has done better than most other pizza places is the packaging. The cartons were very beautiful and I loved the artwork. The artwork was not only funny but also promoted the importance of recycling in a hilarious way.

On a lazy Sunday night, watching the IPL, we decided to order pizzas for dinner, rather than stepping out. Our choice was quite easy, Mojo Pizza, thanks to their BOGO (buy one get one) offer. There are about 5-6 pizzas available in the offer, you have to pick any two, and you pay only for the higher priced one. We opted for Some Like It Hot, and Crowded House, both pan tossed, and 10 inches in size. The pizzas arrived in time, and we attacked Crowded House first, expecting it to be the less spicier of the two, which it was. Plenty of paneer and golden corn, liberal spread of cheese, soft bread, this was a delight of a pizza, highly recommended. The bar was set quite high, and Some Like It Hot pushed it higher still. A little less cheese comparatively, but lots of golden corn, red paprika and jalapenos, it was appropriately spicy, not too much where you keep reaching for glasses of water, eyes and nose watering. I recommend this one highly too, my only complaint being there was quite a bit of capsicum on the pizza. While placing the order you get to add cooking instructions, and I had mentioned there to not add capsicum to either pizza, but there it was on Some Like It Hot, so that was disappointing. To sum up then, Mojo Pizza created an excellent first impression, the pizzas were amongst the best ones I've had in a while, (the capsicum inconvenience aside), and the BOGO offer makes it an absolute steal, 100%...
