Don’t bother with coming here if you are a foreigner. It bills itself as 3 star hotel, but it’s a one star at best. How does it fail, let me count the ways:
The sheets have stains and are quite thin. I had to request extra sheets to add between sheets in mattress and duvet (see below in duvet). The extra sheets had stains but only so much I can rile against these sheets. Requesting couple sheets was a chore. Of the three times I requested it, two times I had to remind them the second time. On the first time, they bought a bed along with sheets and second time, they plainly forgot as receptionist told me and apologized. Because they forgot sheets the first time, I decided to leave things alone in my room and not have them clean it. I put the do not disturb sign out in the early morning and left for day. Sure enough, they didn’t read my sign and came it and made bed (and took extra sheets away). And I think that’s all they did, because floors weren’t swept not bathroom that cleaned. It’s more alarming they don’t read signs they provide. The duvet was dirty and needed a good wash. I had to put a sheet under so I would touch the duvet when sleeping. Speaking of bathroom, they reused a shampoo packet from a precious guest. These packs are in silver pouches, and it was already opened on my arrival. The bathroom had grimy floors, towels were stained and threadbare. The tub hadn’t seen bleach in a few years, and mold around the bathtub seemed to be there for a least a year. The floors on first day were disgusting. They hadn’t been mopped. I would have had if they were at least swept. But in the end, I took a towel, wet it, and cleaned the night traffic areas of my room so I could walk barefoot. This didn’t get better when they came and ‘cleaned’ the room. Two things it had going for it, and why I didn’t leave, was that it had AC and no bugs. But that changed the final night (thank god it was final night). In final night we come in to room, there was a cockroach on the floor greeting us. We thought it might be dead and luckily a employee was near our door. We told him how this happened and he shrugged that probably through the open window in hallway. Anyways, we told him to get rid of it. He used his feet and we saw cockroach was alive. He kept pushing it out our door and a couple times, flicked it to my wife even after she told him to watch it. My wife was not happy when the last time he flicked it, that it was to her. Anyways, we tried to forget and out a towel under our door so it couldn’t get in while we slept.
These were the big points that even one would force me not to recommend this “hotel”. But combined, I can safely say to stay far away. Read moreCockroch lover management : I think hotel management is loving cockroches. So in rooms many cockroches are there. Even after complaining no action taken. I think hotel needed serious pest control. I know they will blame this on housekeeping. But this is not even not their control too. In wooden lines of room cockroches are hidden and coming outside at night. Many crackes in wooden lines. Also inroom breakfast or food and then after no proper cleaning also responsible for this. Big hol gutter in bathrooms also reason for this that cockroaches are coming out from that. in name of toiletaries they give cheap quality bath soap and clinic plus 1 rs shampoo pouch. So actually they are not giving shampoo soap. Other 3 star hotels give good quality toiletaries and bath kit. they do not have dining facility so buffey breakfast not possible. So they delivered in room so it results in limitations. Quality some day good and some day compromise. Limited options. One more thing that from reception they daily call to book breakfast timing. But useless breakfast person start belling room since morning 8 and keep disturbing you. Then why they call in advance to book breakfast time? window of room was open on first day and no reling also there so risky if you have small kid. Window was not locked and open. hospitality is bed. Reception is dull. Never pickup call. Not proactive. Waited for an hour at checking and mam at reception is least interested in early checkin given even though advance paid and advance informed and room were emptied. Staff not seems trained in behaviour point of view and looks like oyo rooms staff. ac was making noise.. After taping it stops making noice and after some time again start.
Rooms are big. Location is good. But i think hotel not for business traveler or family traveler. They mainly focus on selling in marraiges and function so they don't care in all this issues.
So in summary very much compromise in cleanliness pest control and hospitality. all other things can be okey upto somewhat level but cleaning,Specially in covid time not accepted - you can't accept to live with...
Read moreThe location was absolutely the best, room was spacious and felt safe anytime. When i did the booking the booking amount by mistake an additional zero was added to my billing so instead of thousand's it ended up in lakhs which i realised a bit late. So whole two hours was spent trying to call up the bank and hotel to reverse the charges which finally happened though it was quite an experience. The first time I checked in, late in the night and I ended up facing certain issues like the room allotted had toilet flush not working. However, the following morning the front desk Madam was kind enough to change my room to road facing room which was good as it was Ganesh festival time so lot of festivitiy i could witness in the night. Further, during the subsequent check-in, this week the room allotted was different and this room though had a front view of the road on the 3rd floor. Unfortunately the following morning when i was in the shower i realised that the drain of the bathroom drain was almost choked and it was such a nuisance to finish bathing. The basic requirement of functional bath and toilet is but a bare minimum during any stay at hotel. Considering the price is premium the quality wasn't upto the mark on repeated instances.
