Oye Pappe! — Restaurant in Mumbai

Located in Santacruz, Oye pappe! Is a delivery kitchen which serves Vegetarian dishes of North Indian cuisine. They serve some tasty starters, mains and alot more.

To start off with, we had: -Bharwan Mushroom Tikka : These were some soft mushrooms marinated in tikka masala and served with grilled capsicum bits and onion along with a spicy yet delicious chutney. Not to forget the mushrooms were filled with cheese and hence were really yummy! A must try definitely.

-Daal Makhani :Daal makhani was fine. Not the best I've had but a nice dish to try out with their delectable naans.

-Shah Jahani Biryani. : Spicy Biryani rice mixed with veggies and paneer was delicious. Not a fan of Vegetable Biryani but this was great especially when savored with Dahi Boondi.

-Subzi Panchali: Had fine vegetables in them but too oily. The taste wasn't something to brag about.

-Paneer Lababdar : Probably a dish paneer lovers would look forward to. Personally I didn't find this all too appetizing. But no harm in trying it out.

-Chilli Cheeze Naan: Well the best naans ever. They were basically butter naan filled with cheese and chilli flakes. The perfect naans to have with the gravy dishes.

All in all, a nice place to order vegetarian dishes. What I liked about them was that the delivery was made on time. The quantity of the dishes was decent. A fine place to try out...

Oye Pappe located in Santacruz East Kalina is an express delivery kitchen. Serving one of the finest menus in Santacruz East area, oye pappe never disappoints in any form. May that be appetizers, mains, desserts or breads. Been eating since 2012 and still my fav pick when it comes to take away. It's completely veg and that's the best part. But kinda strange too that an authentic punjabi kitchen serving pure veg sinful dishes. WOW!!

What I generally order.

Breads Garlic Naan - Perfectly done naan topped with generous amount of garlic. Uff the taste is epic. I can eat this just like that without any accompaniments too :)

Missi Roti - Missi roti is a north Indian specialty and is often made in various homes in the north indian belt.

Bharwan Mushroom Tikka - Beautifully made mushroom tikkas filled with cheese.

Banjara Kofta - A great dish to go with rice or rotis. Perfectly cooked. Mild spicy and lovely in flavour.

Paneer Lahori - This is my fav dish. Soft paneer made with tomato based gravy and lots of garlic.

Dal Makhani - Slow cooked dal to go perfect with Jeera Rice.

Also try their Paneer Pasanda, Paneer Lababdar and Green Peas Pulav. They all are amazing.

Just ordered from oye Pappe, first of all it bears a deceptively similar name to the trade mark Oye Kakke and that is only how it is attracting business. however it is only a take away joint and is not a restaurant. Ordered dal tadka and tawa subzi; both medium portions and tandoori rotis. To my Shock and surprise the dal and Sabzi was ridiculously priced at rs 290 each... tandoori roti was priced at 30 rs each.... There was nothing at all about the food that could receive any applaud... Tandoori Rotis were smooth and slimmer like chapathis... Absolutely lost track of Tandoori Roti. Overall my first and last order...
