This place is not wheelchair friendly but the food is amazing. You can park your car outside if you are on a wheelchair by requesting the traffic office or You can be dropped just outside the restaurant which is actually the main road and then there is one very high step to get from the road to the walking path and then there is one very tiny step to enter the restaurant. you can accommodate your chair at the entrance because the other side of the restaurant has fixed sofas. Let me mention that they do have a small toilet which is clean but again it has a very high step to enter. The food here is so delicious that I don't mind going through the trouble to get into the restaurant I could parcel some and take it home but hot hot food tastes so much more better. I have visited this place many times and my usual order is fried prawns and fish curry with rice and yes let me not forget the signature dish which is bombil fry...

Too expensive for the offerings and quantity of their dishes. No valet parking service. Location is easy to navigate to. A strong Maharashtrian feel to it, the restaurant offers Malwani/Konkani cuisines and have their speciality in fish preparations. To my surprise, they had veg thali but no nonveg thali at all. The service is decent and interiors are plain simple. Payment by cards is accepted. As there are no nonveg thali option, you have to order nonveg dishes separately. One dish is roughly of the size of a soup bowl and around Rs. 350/389 which is too much on the higher side. Veg thali is around Rs. 240, again on a higher side for my liking. One must just visit this place for a check mark of must visits in Mumbai...

This restaurant is exactly as old as me. And my family has been coming here since even before I can remember. From a simple down-to-earth restaurant serving food so delicious, people waited hours just to get a table, to a swankier air-conditioned one, dishing out the same lip-smacking authentic Malvani & Maharashtrian food. It's better that somethings never change. You must try the Veg, Mutton & Fish thalis here. And the Sol kadhi is nectar for the soul. I simply love the friend prawns with amti Curry. Ravas, surmai & bombil fry are must orders here. Green masala fish & stuffed pomfret are top-notch. Another favorite order here is the Prawn Pulao & crab sukkha & Mutton sukkha. Also, don't miss out on the kharvas...

Missed this hidden gem even though it's not so hidden and I've lived close by for years. Tried the mutton thaali and bangda fry. Both were really good. The thecha is worth mentioning. Something that surprised us was the chicken tacos with their own twist. They were delicious. We wanted to take two portions take away but they weren't letting us take the shell and the filling separately for some reason. We requested them so that it wouldn't get soggy by the time we reached home but they were adamant that it couldn't be done for whatever reason. Anyway, worth checking out this place. The foods great. Parking is non existent so you'll have to park elsewhere and then walk here, or just take a rickshaw.
