Sharma Bhelpuri House — Restaurant in Mumbai

I had visited this place with my family on my grandmother's birthday. My grandparents are 70+ in age. We went there at 9pm. Since the closing time shown was 10pm. They had already started winding up the store when we reached. The 2 employees that were present at the store were very rude and told us that you have to give your whole order now itself. We cooperated. Yet, they kept grumbling and were rushing us. We asked them to let my grandparents sit, to which they refused initially saying that they want to close. Then when we pleaded, they let us sit however when my grandparents were walking towards the seat, they started pouring soap water on the floor. My grandparents need assistance to walk and in such a scenario they behaved so rudely. My grandparents could have fallen. Even while we were eating they kept pouring water between our feet and sweeping. They kept talking rudely to all of us. We somehow managed to finish our food, paid and left. We were Sharma Bhelpuri House loyals at one point, it always had good food. But this one incident has spoiled that loyalty. We never returned to this...

Yummy pani poori with sprouts, ragda, aloo fillings. Spicy😋 quenching chill paani and khajur ka meetha chatni.

His other stuff like sevpuri, bhel, dahibatatapoori etc. is all superb. I am his girahik of over 25 years. I think majority of his girahiks are over 2 decades old and loyal customers.

The only issue is that he operates out of a shop which in evenings gets crammed with panipoori lovers and chat lovers. Sometimes there are two rows of 5-6 people waiting for panipoori, but he works like machine. There is hardly any space to sit (gets filled by 10 persons). But the catering is fast. You can get it packed for home. And he also does outdoor catering for say a terrace chat party.😁 Cost typically usual, I think 2-3 persons each eating 2 items and sharing the dahi items at end would cost about 550-600 ( usual disclaimers). Love his panipoori...

I went here after watching review over a youtube so already my expectations were high .. I tries dahi puri and sev puri here. First of all there is no service at all people who come after you will get order before you. Let's talk about dahi puri which cost 60rs per plate includes 5 pieces is tasteless I never had worst dahi puri than this it's only potato filled in to puri and pour dahi and sev with little imli chatni and lots of chat masla that's it now sev puri puri used in this is very hard (not crunchy ) it is difficult to chew which is also very taste less cost 50rs. Total vaste of money n m amused to see how people are eating such tasteless food that too paying large amount. Road side cart will serve better sev puri n dahi puri. Totally not...
