Sharma Chaat Bhandar — Restaurant in Mumbai

Exited this place right now , highly disappointed. Naam bade darshan cchote... Roadside vendors serve edible pani puris. Such a show off and let down, in the name of celebrities, this place is just cashing on celeb reels and bootlicking tactics. They just can't get a basic pani puri right , forget about the extended menu. I actually have had the best experiences of chat bandhaars , ELCO at bandra , Chandrus at Versova metro Honey singhs favourite , Monsoon magic at lokhandwala again a favourite with locals and celebs, but this sharma chat bandhaar is an absolute disgust , filthy and messy inedible food . Clearly amitabh bachan and Govinda and others have no scrumptious taste buds as the said chat bandhaar has been raving about these celebs being his regular clientele including akshay kumar. Hilarious as it sounds, the veterans in the bollywood rave about this veteran making flop venture into high scale business or are they just making money together via social media promotions and making a mockery of the audiences . Coming to rating, food quality and quantity is a zero, hygiene discipline is a minus . Over all , a lack luster experience. Bhai tu bandh kar apni dookaan aur reham kar bambai k logon pe, pelna bandh kar jhooth pe khelna, jahaan se aaya hai wahaan ghaav waapis jaa bhai... Bahut paise...

Located in a shopping centre in juhu; till a decade ago they had their stall on the pavement. I've been visiting this place for more than 2 decades now. It's quite an old and popular place if you are looking for hygienic and delicious Mumbai style chaats. They also serve kulfi apart from the regular chaats. Very limited seating on a long bench, so be prepared to savour the food standing. Service is good with accomodating staff. Slightly overpriced than the regular chaats places. Overall a very pleasant experience. Parking could be a big issue here as the street is always full of...

This is a hidden gem!

It's a small place with seating capacity for 4-5 people approximately.

The service is pretty quick.

Hygiene levels are also quite decent.

The outstanding items out of all these have to be their Pani Puri and Ragda Pattice. Other items are good too!

Almost all items can be made Non-Jain, Jain or Half Jain (No Onion, No Garlic). You can get it customised as per your choice & liking.
