Su Swagat — Restaurant in Mumbai

Visited Suswagat last Friday for an farewell lunch of a colleague.

The place is very near to our office, Used to go there quite a lot before i lost my no-tiffin partner. They have outdoor as well as A.C. seating plus a separate A.C. section for families.

Well i was hoping to share a beer or two, But all of them hesitated to drink. So i had one "Screw Driver", One of my favorite drink to have. Had masala papad with that.

In lunch, we had "Veg Chilli Milli" & "Makai Makhanwala". Veg chilli milli is a combination of 2 separate gravies (Green & orange). Both of them are good. I liked the orange one better. "Makai Makhanwala" is on a sweeter side a bit. The combination of this 3 different tastes went very well. Had it with properly made Kulchas.

Still got room, So had "Jeera Rice" & "Dal Fry". One of those places were Dal's quantity is more(Unlike lots of other places - It's a mystery). Taste was awesome.

To sum up, This place has a very comfortable and peaceful environment. Very good food(Not excellent). But compare to other regular restaurants serving north indian food, This place is definitely a...

Never ever visit or order food. The boy who receives order is very arrogant, his attitude is like he is giving food free of cost and we have to agree on his behaviour, also some times the order is fulfilled improperly like some itens were missing some items are just mixed and served from other orders. I order jain spl sabji and Indian combo, In Indian combo there should be paneer sabji but I got that jain sl sabji in Indian combo also, so it implies that these guys just saved their efforts and served with same item in the thali which was really very cheap behaviour even after charging high prices on menu. I request all the customers that dont fall for this fancy brand name these guys are exploiting the customers so report them as early as possible. And also lodge a complaint in Gov consumer helpline. I strongly condemn the impolite nature of order boy and cheap behaviour...

I frequently visit this place for a quick booze or when i am catching up with someone. Since Its hardly 1 min from the Western Express Highway and it's convenient for me to stop by while on my way home from work as i can avoid the traffic area and get back on the highway quickly. It's a regular bar and restaurant which is preferred by those who booze regularly. Food is resonably Ok. I think food of Lalit, Goregaon is much better than Su Swagat. Prices are quite resonable. Service is good. But since i have been there quite a few times, I prefer being serviced by Mr. Jha who is a very jolly...
