JD TADKA — Restaurant in Mumbai

The JD Tadka, authentic south Indian food outlet, ventured on 2nd Nov 2021 by Mr. Jagdish and Mr. Deepak.

I met these youngsters who are in their 30s in my office in Oct/Nov 2022. They left the routine job and experimented by starting this venture.

Their journey started in 2021, with the Delivery orders of Fluffy Idli Sambar chutney and Crispy Medu wada Sambar chutney and list of their menu is increasing in terms of dosas, Uttapam in South Indian dishes and is not ending there. Poha, upma and Misal pav also included in their kitty to beat the craves of taste buds !

Initially they were open on 6 working days. From 8th Jan 2023- today, they added "SUNDAY" to welcome the taste- buddies, who are in search of Peace by taste buds satisfaction, like me.

Their food is authentic, freshly made, served neatly.

Regarding FOOD TASTE, it serves only PEACE.

Moreover, the smiles of both of them -JDs makes the day !

The place is convenient to reach from Magathane - Western express Highway within 500 mtrs and Borivali Station.

One must and must reach JD Tadka. For sure, their steps will turn towords them again and again...

The best place for authentic South Indian breakfast.... No fancy additions to the menu, all simple and tasty. The best fact is that both deepak bhai and jagdish bhai are very amiable.... Its just my go to place for a nice and tasty breakfast plus having a cheerful chat with the two of them...... And special mention- the packaging of delivery that they provide is just outstanding unlike the other stalls that we order our South Indian cuisine from.... Keep the good work...

Good things come in small packages! I don't recall the last time I had such amazing medu wada sambar. If you're looking for a good, inexpensive, regular breakfast place - this is your go-to.

Jagdish and Deepak are really friendly and kind. Very hygienic and quality conscious about their food. Keep up...
