Dated: 6th August 2025 We chose to visit Taste of Malvan due to its reputation for authentic Malvani food. Upon reaching the restaurant, we directly ordered the main course. At the time of taking our order, the staff asked if we needed water. We specifically requested a Bisleri bottle, but what was served wasn’t even Bisleri. We ordered Chicken Handi, which turned out to be extremely disappointing. It was tasteless and lacked any flavor. We ended up eating it only because we were very hungry. I would rate this dish 1 out of 10. However, the most unpleasant part of our experience was the manager’s behavior. At the time of billing, we asked them to remove the water bottle charge since we didn’t use it and the seal was still intact. Moreover, they had charged ₹37 for a ₹20 bottle, which is highly unreasonable.
When we politely asked them to remove the bottle charge and take the bottle back, the manager refused arrogantly and said, “pani ka bottle hi hain a , usme kya kam karoge “When we said we would raise a complaint, he rudely replied, “complaint karna hai toh karlo.”
This was honestly one of the worst customer service experiences we’ve ever had. We hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving both the food quality and staff behavior.
I would strongly suggest not even bookmarking or considering such restaurants, especially if you value good food and respectful...
Read moreProbably the worst experience I have had at a restaurant, the waiter will bring you the wrong order and on top of that he'll blame you for it. Never have I seen a waiter tell his manager in front of the customer to SHUT UP ! because he wants to talk to the customer. The rude behaviour of the manager and the waiter was highlighted to us by another set of customers who were sat there before us. Coming to the food, do not be fooled by the reasonable prices, the quantity & quality of seafood particularly is horrible. While a simple Bombil fry costs Rs 220, a stuffed bombi ( 2 pieces ) ( probably the worst I've ever had ) costs 430, also it's not on the menu so don't make the same mistake of not asking for the price. The atmosphere is ok but the level of service & food quality is on the floor. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STEPPING FOOT INSIDE THIS PLACE EVER. Rather go eat at home which would be faster than...

They served with Green chutney which was nice. It cost INR 450 3.Fish curry was also nice. Jawla - this was tasty. One must try this. Bhakri (rice) - this could have been better. Wasnt near to actual bhakri. 6.Solkadhi - just delicious.
