My experience at The Maharaja Bhog, A 100% Pure Vegetarian Restaurant, was unlike any other. We were warmly welcomed in the restaurant by the Manager. Once seated, One of the staff members brought a cow-shaped piggy bank for us to put a coin (provided by them) in it for charity through our hands”. And another employee made us wash our hands in a hand-held basin. The table was already set with a plate (the thali), countless bowls, 2 spoon and 3 glasses – 1 for the Welcome Drink, 1 for Buttermilk and 1 for Water. Then, the staff starting serving us the delectable food. My Personal Experience : I was definitely spoilt for choice but my personal favourites were the Sindhi Dal Pakwan Tadka and the Fruit Custard. After having eaten Dal Pakwan at so many places before, I have never eaten such Yummy Dal Pakwan ever in my life. The fruit custard took centerstage and was very tasty. The meal left me satiated. The ambience of the restaurant was perfect. With soft music playing in the background, The place was well-lit and the decoration was stylish. The staff maintained absolute silence and communicated among themselves by using sign language. At Maharaja Bhog, We were served food with true love and respect which made us feel as Maharajas in the true sense. AT MAHARAJA BHOG, YOU ARE TREATED AS A TRUE MAHARAJA. It has excellent quality, taste of food and prompt service. Maharaja Bhog offers 30 items in a single thali and a different menu for all the 30 days during the month. With so much to savour, All you need to ensure is a good appetite before you embark on the mouthwatering journey. Experience the taste of royalty at Maharaja Bhog – Premium Veg Thali with gourmet food that will pamper your taste buds like never before. With authentic Rajasthani and Gujrati dishes making up the sumptuous Thali, this is one traditional Indian meal You are not likely to forget in a hurry. The recipes have been handed down from generations, at Maharaja Bhog, Fine dining acquires a whole new meaning. Maharaj Bhog strongly believes in the Indian tradition of “Atithi Devo Bhava” which is why all their dishes are prepared and served with great thought and care for our customers. It is the motto which the staff truly follows from the minute You enter the restaurant till the minute You leave. What you’ll enjoy at Maharaja Bhog isn’t just sumptuous food but warm and royal hospitality as well. Run by Maheshwari Foods and Hospitality Pvt Ltd,Maharaja Bhog has both a National and International presence. The chain currently has eight outlets, four in Mumbai, one in Cochin, two in Dubai and one in USA – Houston, Texas. Their vegetarian thali restaurants in Dubai and USA are a proof of the growing popularity of traditional Indian cuisine Outside India. Maharaja Bhog brings the taste of traditional and authentic Indian flavors on an international platform with each meal serving up as many as different items to satiate your taste buds, The thali is bound to pleasantly awaken your taste buds on each visit. For Maharaja Bhog “Atithi Devo Bhava” isn’t just an adage but a way of life. They say eat “Breakfast like a King, Lunch like a Prince and Dine like a Pauper” But at Maharaja Bhog, You’ll definitely end up feasting like a king be it any...

This review is only for the Maharaja Bhog at Lower Parel where my wife and I visited second time. We had gone to this place with family of 11 people yesterday evening on November 7, 2019 for a dinner and had an awful experience. Bill number is 8B00065963. Though the ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, the items served were not worth mentioning. My wife and I had enjoyed food here earlier about 3 to 4 months ago; hence we thought of bringing our other family members who are located in south Mumbai, to introduce them this new eatery house.

We got the information over phone from this restaurant that it serves 4 vegetables, 3 Farsan, 3 Sweets, Rice, Chapati, etc etc. and price is Rs.600/- per person. No advance booking is done. Valet parking facilities is available.

We are disappointed to note that we were served with 2 sweets instead of 3 sweets (Shrikhand was not served though it was specifically mentioned over phone); service was so slow that we had to ask for the most wanted dishes repeatedly; quality of pattice was altered to poor filling which became tasteless during successive service. This gave us the impression that the stock of pattice has exhausted; food was served cold throughout, including all vegetables, Dal and Kadhi, except for the khichdi/rice/pulav which are basic items. No papad was served. Pickle, chilly, etc were looking dry as if they are not refilled. The staff was courteous and polite.

To sustain in this competitive business, one should compare their quality; the number of items and dishes served, including service part against price they charge. We will be reluctant to recommend this...

A Royal Food Experience is awaiting you at this beautiful gem of a place in Lower Parel. Top Notch food quality, supreme hospitality and mesmerizing ambience are some of the highlights of this place. You will be greeted with grace on your entry in the restaurant. Followed by a royal hand wash experience which is followed by Gau Seva ( An Honour to Cow) and finally leading to the start of an extravaganza meal. The meal is served in authentic style and traditional brass thali and cutlery. Pickles , Salads and Chatni were the first ones to come to your plate . A Rajastani meal is never complete without Dal Batti Choorma which arrived next . Qued up next were the farshan palak aloo pakoda and melting soft white dhokla. In mains we savoured four types of sabji , Dal and Kadhi (Sweet ones were our preference) . Served along side with hot phulka , jowar rotla in while butter and masala layered paratha. Chaas and kesar sherbet were perfect accompaniments. Lastly we enjoyed the sweet of the day to the fullest . Piping hot Gulab sheera and chilled ras malai . Finally again a royal hand was ceremony and to mark an impeccable end to the eve comes the sweet pan to your service. Overall a scrumptious and wholesome experience. They have come up with some wonderful Women Wednesday offers and also with some great offers on Tuesday. Highly recommend to visit this place . Happy and Safe Fooding until next time.

We recently visited Maharaja Bhog to try their much-talked-about Mango Fiesta Thali, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we entered, the warm hospitality made us feel like royalty. The staff was incredibly courteous and attentive, ensuring that we were comfortable and well taken care of throughout our meal. The spread was truly impressive, offering a beautiful balance of Rajasthani and Gujarati flavors. Each dish was crafted with love and authenticity, reminding us of home-cooked food. The highlight, of course, was the creative use of mangoes in several dishes – AAMRAS was the highlight! The thali had an extensive variety: from starters, farsan, multiple sabzis, dals, kadhi, to freshly made breads and desserts – everything tasted fresh, comforting, and delicious. Special mention for the rotis and puris that were served hot and soft, along with generous portions of ghee, adding to the richness. The ambiance at Maharaja Bhog complements the food beautifully – neat, traditional, and welcoming. Every element of the experience, from the service to the presentation, reflects their commitment to offering an authentic royal dining experience. If you are a fan of traditional Indian food or simply looking to enjoy a lavish vegetarian feast, Maharaja Bhog’s Mango Fiesta Thali is a must-try! We are definitely looking forward to returning soon.

Food - 9/10 Ambiance - 9/10 Service - 8/10 VFM - 9/10 What stands out - The spread of thali Went here on a thursday night for dinner with 4 other friends. We came at around 8:30 pm and the place was half full but by 9, there was waiting outside. Reservations are reccommended. The place is fairly large and well made. The tables arent particulary spacious but pretty comfortable. They have Thali on the menu and no a la carte options but trust me thali is all you want to order here. The service is pretty fast and there is always a waiter waiting to fill your empty bowls of food. The food is extremely well made. Quite tasty and pretty well presented. Thali is pretty large with a lot of balanced variety. They have 2 farsan, 4 sabzi, 2 dals, 2 kadhi, 3 types of rotis/puri, 2 variety of rice, one sweet dish and of course aam ras. I am sure i missed out on one or two items but this is generally what they serve. They have a pretty good service andthey try and make sure you have a wonderful time here and feel like a king. For all mango lovers out there, definitely try the ras here. I had a minimum of 5 bowls of ras. Mr. Ashish Maheshwari is the owner of this amazing restaurant. They have outlest across the globe and have done phenomenal work with their offerings. Strongly reccommended place if you are in the mood for thali. You will surely love the experiance.
