My sister had placed an order or two cakes , one for my birthday and one for hers. It was made very clear on what is that we want for each of the cakes. They were given photos , were informed about what fillings and creams are wanted, what design they should be. I had talked to chelf i believe his name to be Prashant multiple times on what I want for my cake. I wanted a French cream not butter cream, and while booking this cake he was quite persuasive that I choose butter cream and I had a similar experience a few years ago so I didn’t want butter cream i was sort of just pressured / convinced into getting butter cream , i believe that they don’t know how to work with any other creams . They should inform about their lack of skills rather than take the order and just ruin someone’s day. The fillings for my cake were strawberry purée but it was so sticky that would just assume that it’s glue. And do not get me started on the taste. My family almost threw up coz how bad it was , it tasted like expired dark chocolate . For the amount they charge one you expect a top quality product with great customer service . At least the person I talked to on the phone was nice . The chef is just tiring to deal with . Then he wanted to compensate with a few pastries and a bento cake . Mind you I paid thousands of rupees , pre ordered well in advance and it was for my birthday which was already an irritating day coz of these people. And honestly I’d just let that money go to waste , than take their compensation pastries as I think they’d be just as awful if not more. And my sister’s cake also had a huge color mistake .
