Versova SOCIAL — Restaurant in Mumbai

I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment regarding my recent experiences at Versova Social, one of the esteemed branches of your restaurant chain. I believe in open and honest feedback, which is why I feel compelled to share these incidents with you.

On my most recent visit on 01/09/2023 to Versova Social, I ordered Long Island Iced Teas (LIIT) multiple times. However, I was dismayed to discover that despite your establishment charging more than the industry standard, the drinks I received contained almost no alcohol. This situation is not only frustrating but also disheartening, as it feels like a blatant attempt to deceive customers. I brought this matter to the attention of the waitstaff, but unfortunately, no improvements were made during my visit.

Furthermore, I must also bring to your attention an incident that occurred on 26/08, where a friend of mine ordered a Jacobs Creek wine, but they were served something entirely different. Such discrepancies raise questions about the quality control and integrity of your establishment.

I am writing to seek clarity on whether these incidents are a result of your specific instructions or if there might be issues with staff honesty or quality control at Versova Social. I believe that transparency and quality are essential aspects of any reputable restaurant, especially one with the stature and presence of Social.

I genuinely hope that these incidents can be addressed promptly to maintain the trust and reputation of your restaurant chain. I look forward to your response and a resolution to these concerns.

Social is a go to place for me. I don't even remember the number of times I have visited socials , be it Oberoi social or fun Republic social , lower Parel social but I always wanted to visit the versova social. The location and the way it was made ( told by my friends ) I so wanted to visit this place .

So finally got a chance and the plan was finally successful. Versova social finally. As soon as I reached the place the exterior of this place is beautiful, location which is at the junction is too good , with ample parking space. The interior is too good and the vibes are awesome. Eat drink and party hard. This place has a very energetic vibes.

The menu was same as all, they should have kept few things which only these outlet serves, these goes with all. 2-3 dish which is only different at all outlet. That will make people visit all other outlet of social.

Food ordered -

Fully loaded nachos - okok , they can use melted cheese

Hot Tennessee chicken wings - yum , one of the best chicken wings

Pls school chicken tikka - they were really old school, super soft , just melted in mouth. Old classic tikka

Crispy sesame honey chilli fries - better than normal fries , good taste and can be used as chakhna

Paneer chilli - they should work on quality of paneer. Okok

Healthy chakhna bittings - I don't think anyone can go wrong with this basic chakhna

Veg burger - only veg burger , good portion and taste.

Momos - green colour , n good.

White cheese pasta - I would recommend- pls don't try pasta here.

Mud pot Oreo shake - yum

KitKat shake - yum

Eat - Drink - Party...

So this place was a really interesting looking building but it seemed like a haunted place that no one would go into, that’s until Social came and spiced things up.

They do have fun drinks and a nice ambiance so it’s a great place to chill in the night, but then almost every other pub in Bombay is like that but where they really shine is during the day.

I really appreciate the business model of Social. For folks who don’t know they are a bar by night and a shared office cum all day diner by day.

It’s a fantastic place for freelances and entrepreneurs to work from, they create a great environment for creative people to work out of.

For the folks who like their coffee fix. They’re the only place I know in Bombay that serve coffee freshly roasted from green beans, ground and brewed but you gotta ask them what’s roasting at that time and they’ll serve you a cup however you like it brewed. For everyone else who don’t care much about fresh roasted coffee they have a good selection of single estate coffee. The server told me they source it from their privately owned estate but I’m not sure how true that is.

If you’re working from there they never ask you to leave but by 6-6:30 you’ll realise the music getting loud,...
