Pretty bad compared to the standard i saw at Youmee in R city mall. First we tried ordering black rice mango sushi to which they said it’s seasonal and not available. While i just had it 10 times this month at other youmee chains. But hey, that’s fine maybe they don’t serve. Then we ordered Dimsum, we waited 10 mins then the representative told us it’ll take 25mins more to which we said okay fine!!! Then someone cane and told us 5 more mins. Meanwhile, the couple beside us who came after us had 3 dimsums served to them before us. Then 10mins later the representative came up to us and told us that they messed up with the last portion of dimsum and all we did not quite understand it but whatever he said it meant it cannot be served now. After waiting almost an hour we were not served anything. Then we just had a ramen and moved out which was also not satisfactory. Also the representative lied that they do not serve peanut salad. Which i confirmed with other representative she said it is usually there and i have asked chefs to make it. It’ll arrive in sometime. Which ofc never came in 1.5 hrs we were there. R city you mee is far better in terms of standards. The staff here needs a lot of training. After all this the waiter had no audacity to even apologise for what happened. I had brought my friend from 40kms away to taste thinking it would be same like...
Read moreHad dined at this newly opened restaurant on the 3rd floor of Infiniti Mall.
We started with their recommended Oriental Manchow soup - unlike most dark coloured manchow soup, this one was clearer and definitely had the right flavours. Packed with veggies, its a must try for a different take on soy based manchow soup.
One of their best options was the Lychee and Basil quencher - served like a slushee with frozen lychee piece. It tasted better once the ice started to melt, could do with a better quality straw though.
Their most expensive 8 piece Veg Emperor Sushi Roll was a let down. You could definitely taste the spicy mayo, but definitely was underwhelming. For a similar price, I can imagine a more flavour packed Sushi.
The Honey chilly chicken tasted good. Unlike most places I have had this dish at, Youmee serves a little more liquid sauce (honey flavour).
Finally, for main course we went with their recommended Udon noodles with Shitake Mushroom. Packed with a lot of veggies, this dish again was under par on flavours. I felt the dish contained a little extra soy sauce over powering the entire taste so much so that the veggies tasted a bit salty.
I think based on the dishes we ordered, they could really work on the flavors.
Portion size is decent...
Read moreThe Worst Pan Asian Restaurant I have visited till date. I went with my wife and order 2 dishes Signature Chicken Ramen Teriyaki Chicken Ramen
This was not a Ramen but just a Unsatisfactory Bowl of Chicken Broth with 90% Maida Noodles, 8%Chicken and 2% Veggies... The Chicken seemed like it was frozen for a month and then suddenly cooked and put in the bowl of Ramen....And for the vegetables there was actually none...Just 2 pieces of Bokchoy...That's it and it was not even perfectly boiled.... The taste of the entire Ramen bowl was horrible and I ate just 20% of the Bowl. My wife is an Asian food lover so she was able to eat max portion of her Ramen bowl and ate some from mine.... And all this Nightmarish Pricy Gastronomic Experience costed me Rs 1633 just for 2 dishes.
Prior to this I have eaten at some other Pan Asian Restaurant like below Crazy Noodles in Phoenix MarketCity, Kurla Nebo Fete House, Andheri East
Belive me the price and quantity at these location was 100 times better than You Me...
Really Disappointed with You Me to the point that I would think 100 times before eating any Asian Dish...
